Ment Funding is making a huge impact on the prop firm industry. What do you think about these changes?
They seem to be scam. If their Pre-sales is not willing to respond, I doubt how would the customer support and the billing would be.
I posted 7 questions on their channel as there is no other way to contact sales team to get answer to the queries, but they deleted my comment. I wanted to get multiple 2m accounts, but I am afraid I might end up loosing money without getting any accounts

We are not a scam, we have been doing business for over 3 months now with some very large payouts, and have funded over 4 mill+ in funded accounts. We do not have a pre sales department, I don’t know what that is. We have an available contact us feature directly on the website and havnt had any major issues with any clients since we launched.
I have never deleted comments ever.
You are either purchasing a completely different product that has nothing to do with mentfx or ment funding, or you have not taken the time to read any of our available rules online.
We are not looking to do business with those that have a poor attention to detail or those that try to trash our name on online reviews of our firm. You have not purchased any 2 mill accounts, and your comment makes no sense. Please reword it.
Hi, what do you think about the fact that once you make 5 percent on the account and drawdown gets locked in at starting balance, it doesn't reset when you make a profit split. So, you really can't take out 75% of what you made coz that would result in losing the account.
Seems the Ment funding is not taking any risk here once the trader hits 5 percent on trading account.
Your thoughts on this pls.

@@pribre Yes, we have real venture capital investment providing the capital for live funded accounts - it becomes a win win relationship because you pay a LOT less for the account you get, and its supplied by investors that are willing to take on the risk in the beginning to be rewarded longer term. You ARE allowed to take out any profit above a certain point, however, as you may have seen, we seek to find the highest end of traders and those that are coming on long term. No long term trader is seeking to make 5% on an account and withdraw it fully, those are not the traders nor the crowd we are interested in achieving brother

I'm impressed the fact that they don't have minimum or maximum trading days and allow you to upgrade your leverage or hold trades on weekends but the fact that they allow you an opportunity to get funded with 2 mil from a 1 step challenge is the most amazing thing they offer quality

i think 75 percent profit split is little bit low compare to other that have 80 85 and 90 what is good among other things is when i talked to the they say you can build your account to infinity compound it up to 100 million if one like. Thats nice

@Peter Currie I think that's mainly for specific EAs that use an internal SL or other management solution. You're absolutely right that some traders would be worse off with it.

Hello Blake please could you do a review on Intelligence Prime Capital. Do you think they are a scam?
This prop firm would decimate all others if they would just allow the leverage to be higher. Why not have an option to choose for a 1:100 or 1:200 leverage when you’re building your prop firm challenge? Sure, make them more expensive than the 1:10 or 1:20 options but so what. If there’s no time limit to complete your challenge then that would be worth it to me.

I think the founder said keeping the leverage low was the only way to secure live funding instead of doing funded accounts on demo

If they’re letting you build your challenge a la carte, then give us the option to have higher leverage if we’re willing to pay for it. If you don’t want it then just go with the regular 1:10 they offer

For the record, if u already have a live account with Ment, you can't get these features. You'd need to do a new evaluation.
Bummer cause what I've found is that pending orders will tend to auto close after a few hours for me and having a no stop loss rule goes a long way in avoiding that and the convenience of one-click trading can return instead of filling out order forms for the intial entry.

Yes, You can make it in 2 mins or 2 months or 2 years, there's no time limit
What is the difference between a $1Million account leveraged at 10:1 versus a $100k account leveraged at 100:1 ?

The only thing that’s the same with those is the initial total leveraged AUM. Everything else between any different account sizes like daily dd, max dd and even non initial leveraged aum is different
Buying power is not the same as actual account size and risk. If this is the way you think, I could offer you a $1000 account for the cost of $750 leveraged at 1:1000, that means your buying power is 1,000,000 just like a FTMo or Ment Funding account, however, as you can see the issue, even though its the same buying power, 10% profit on it is $100, and on the Ment Funding account its $100,000.

The first thing to watch is the Overall Drawdown that is the real amount of the account the Prop firm gives to you for trade... here they give half of the other Prop... not a good deal...!!!
I think that's part of the reason that they are able to offer a 1-step rather than 2-step challenge.

You’re being extremely nice. The upgrades suck and the trailing drawdown sucks the only plus is the 2 mill acct option. Oh and their scaling plan sucks
If you read Rules there is no wknd hold allowed- but it is no mention that you can buy that option ( who would have thought that you can buy it since non of other companies are allow). Another bit is that you trade real money- in UK and other countries it is illigal to.trade other people's money without licences. Most prop companies supply you with demo- and it.was perfect solution and it is not sign of company being unreliable.
I think the rules still need to be updated. If you get the weekend holding upgrade then it’s allowed!
if you upgrade - its allowed, hence the upgrade page. You are legally allowed to trade thru Ment Funding and our back end investment capital because its legally setup through other entities in legal countries.

Funding trader plus is better on the 100k option, check them out. Similar model but better priced and higher payout ratio
The funded trader is a fantastic prop firm, maybe even the best overall but the model is completely different. Ultimately it comes down to what you as a trader care about in a prop firm and choose the one that meets your criteria the best.

I've never seen a trailing drawdown that doesn't stop at 0. Any trailing stop loss is really lame IMO because it makes taking withdrawals confusing and restricted and it makes it a lot less attractive than other firms with absolute drawdown, essentially it is equivalent to 0% drawdown where as other firms such as FTMO, MFF and TFT have 10-12% withdrawal and the profit target to drawdown ratio on those firms are infinitely better a a result. Because everyone knows that what you pay for with a prop firm is the drawdown, so if you essentially get 0% drawdown what are you paying for? Especially with such steep fees to begin with.

The best Prop Firms are those, who dont require you to hit a Target in XY days like Lux or Ment...for anyone who is serious on trading knows that you dont have a Signal everyday of the week so hitting a target in XY days puts so unnecessary pressure on the traders...Its a waste of time IMO. Thats the reason I dont sign up for TFT oder FMTMO no matter how real they are

Only problem with Ment Funding I see is you can withdraw your profits and you want to keep 5% in the account!!! So technically it is like 2 rounds and not one round of evaluation.

At the moment OTF instant funding form TCF seems to be realistic( if there are hidden rules)
All the rest of prop firms seems to be unrealistic and non sustainable

They one step evaluation is very good and it's cool to see a prop firm doing something different but they max 5% loss is kinda not sitting well with me but at they end of they day, there is always a price to pay.
So I guess that's a price to pay for they phase 2 being removed.

This prop firm is for a very different type of trader than FTMO and other 2 step limited time prop firms. This one has no time limit, 1 stage challenge, the most trading products I've ever seen in any prop firm and the first to add customizability. BUT you're right that it is higher priced and lover leverage than some others (more than CTI, 5%ers, Auadacity, ect.). No prop firm is for everyone and I love the diversity to the prop firm space this one is providing!

I don't see the hype. 2x the cost of FTMO, less profit split by 15%, less leverage, less reputation, less daily drawdown, trailing stop (to an extent), block withdrawals, all for one less verification step?
It’s about ~1.2x the cost of FTMO, and only 5% less payout percentage, not 15% and there’s not block withdrawals. Everything else is true. There’s also no time limit min or max with this one unlike FTMO and way more trading instruments and better broker. Ultimately they have different models and different traders will like different ones. They each have different strengths and weaknesses.
Ah my mistake, FTMO 90% is only after scaling. I can see how you might sign up to this after maxing out a few other firms, but it mostly loses out on pricing

yeah i thought the same but all you need to do is lower your trading risk per trade i would use 0.5 in my opinion and just use other prop firms as well and connect the account with social trader

Remember it's based on balance not equity. Makes a difference. And it's only until you make over 10%. Then any additional winnings add to your overall max drawdown. You could grow it as big as you want. Way over 10%.

I have looked at their models. The leverage sucks. 1:10 or option for 1:20 are horrible. Requirement for stop losses also sucks. Also too expensive for each challenge.
TPT is still the best.
if you’re looking for a time requirement as well as 2 steps and different limitations, I agree, our firm and model is not for you. Recognize I’m not here to copy other models, instead, offer a model to those that recognize the flaws with 2 step models and give them the OPTION to go and get funded with a different firm.
