Loved this discussion, thank you. My 90 year old mother has had many premonitions in her life and a few have saved her life. I have also experienced a few. premonitions. I know it isn’t possible to “see” the future but it seems some people can see a blurry near future
Of course a premonition acted upon may alter the outcome, which was the inherent problem in researching foreshadowings! There were some seemingly definite hits though.
why must he 'remove it from the paranormal'? Why this urge to debunk? On its face its pretty fckn abnormal to predict the future via visions and dreams. Actually seeing the future. 'Freud's relationship with telepathy is really fascinating'? Freud was an absolute kook himself. I'd say some of his theories were totally 'out there'. Basically he wants to be accepted, within establishment status quo. Oh god he's a Guardian journalist. Thst explains the patronising, snobby tone

Out of interest how many recorded pre premonitions were found to be factual?
