I was born into Catholicism and I was taught at an early age to be reverent when I entered the church. Years later when I went to an SDA church with my husband to be, I was amazed at the lack of reverence and how noisy it inside the church. I couldn't understand why people were standing around visiting with one another. Nowadays the noise has become even worse with the drums and guitars that have replaced the organ and hymns that I love to sing. The only word that would fit such reverberating din in our churches is the growing curse of APOSTASY leading away from the simple roots of Seventh Day Adventism. There is no longer reverence for God and churches have become more like social clubs. I am praying for Christ's soon return. Amen
Yes , I agree ,people do not respect the church . They talk about things of the world ect. Until the preacher calls the church to order .and only for 2 hours it's to the mall or grocery store . Music is the intertainment
After the close of probation, we know that there will be no Sin amongst the ones who remain holy, for they are the 144,000. Revelation 14: 4-5 “These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.” This will be the ones that are translated into heaven.

Blessings to all. Please, I need help interpreting 1 Timothy :11-12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34…. Ought I to interpret these literally? Is it a sin for a woman to teach, preach, lead a study group? Am I solely to be dependent on my husband? What if my husband is not a Christian? What if I don’t have a husband? I have prayed to obtain better understanding and it led me here. At 1 Corinthians 14:34, Paul gives directions to women who were speaking out of turn during the congregation meetings. Perhaps some women were interrupting or challenging the men who took the lead in teaching.Paul encouraged those women who had questions or concerns to “ask their husbands at home” rather then disrupt the meetings. Women are greatly valued as fellow ministers or preachers of the good news. (Titus 2:3-5) But in the congregation, God has assigned men to handle the responsibility of teaching the congregation.

The Gregorian calendar did not change the weekly cycle. It moved the date to catch up with the solar year only. God gave the 7 day weekly cycle at Creation, and the 7th day of the week is His holy Sabbath, not a "lunar Sabbath."
About the question about gimmicks and tricks, you'll see the Jesus from the chosen doing a trick like those in one of the episodes in the first season of the show. As Pastor Doug said, I can't really see Jesus doing something likd that.

I did a study on the name Jesus and since that study I will be calling Him by the name that His Father gave Him. That name is Yeshua which has a meaning just as all Hebrew names do. The name Jesus came from trying to sound out the Hebrew letters and assigning letters to make the sound. A German monk; a Spanish translator; an Italian translator and then we get Jesus. So from Yeshua it was translated Iesuos; then the (I) went to a (J); then the (O) was dropped and they ended up with Jesus. It seems weird to me that most of the other names in the Bible got translated pretty close. Joshua was Yehoshua; Israel was Ysra'el; Jeremiah was Yirmeyahu. The list goes on and on, but do not believe in what I tell you. Look up the names of people in the Bible and translate them to Hebrew (Use the App). I feel Satan had his hand in this. Matthew 7:21-23 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. So does He not know them just because of their iniquity or does He not know them because they were calling for Him by the wrong name and not doing the will of His Father. YHWH did not give Him the name Yeshua just to be giving Him a name. His name is a name above all names and that name was special to His Father. Not the human name that humans gave Him.
No one is saved by speaking Hebrew. Jesus is the Anglicized Greek form of His Name. The entire New Testament was written in Koine Greek, including His Name in Greek. If the Apostles could use His Greek Name without sin, so can we.

I was raised an Adventist and have come home to the Catholic Faith. The Latin Mass is probably the only way on earth to worship God in reverence!
