Thank so much for your vlogs. We have learned so much. We are on our first proper road trip in our Motorhome ‘Billy’ And we changed our plans to stop at Hendre Mynach. It’s a great site and we have just done your ride to a George III and having a nice pint in the sun right now! Cheers we would have never known About it without you.
good afternoon mrs slaw,, was delighted to receive your reply to my initial comments, thankyou, i also have an e-bike ( chinese 1000 w 48v motor kit fitted to a used mountain bike,, tis a really easy way to tackle the hills & inclines in worcs area),, nb.> the doggy chariot on mr slaws bike a superb idea , noticed the red flag on back to warn the schumackers approaching from behind,,----- looks like mr slaw & self like the ice-cream ,, used to be lyons/walls when i was little , in meantime,, i will certainly keep an eye out for new releases, your mc500 motorhome is a far cry from my ex p.office combo van !!! but good thing with m-home is you can go where you choose & you dont have to faff about booking lodgings hotels etc ------ happy trails to you both // neocombovan08 //
Thanks for the memories Neil! We didn’t have an ice cream van where we lived as children. We bought ice cream in a cardboard box and wrapped it in newspaper to bring it home without it melting. Then had it sliced in wafers!
We’ve never crossed that bridge! All the times we’ve been to Barmouth too. We loved your cycle route, that fall looked nasty though!! We loved the look of the pub. We have been by there, by accident following the Sat Nav to Barmouth, took us across that rickety wooden bridge with a troll on it (and he was a grumpy troll!!). You guys have such fun days together. Loved it 🍻
Thank you! We crossed the bridge at Penmaenpool many years ago in our T4. Wouldn’t fancy it in Helga 😱 I do keep dropping my ebike 🤦🏻♀️ Struggling to get used to how heavy it is! We love a good day out, as do you two 🤪 Cheers 🍻
Oh the nostalgia. Your choice of music as you cycled along the estuary track was lovely. I had a lump in my throat. We have walked the full length of that track and back, starting from the car park at the other side of the toll Bridge. Lots of geocaches along there. We always stayed at the Afon Rhaiadr Country House. Rhaiadr Wnion, A494, Dolgellau LL40 2AH A beautique hotel that we visited at least 6 times. We often dined at the Cross Foxes Inn. Thanks for taking me on the ride with you, I enjoyed it very much. 😊 xx
Job’s a good ‘un.... and the Slaws on t’ut Tour is a good ‘un, too! 👌👌 Another enchanting little episode of your entertaining Mayday getaway in ABERMAW (to use its local lingo moniker), and I see the predictable (NOT !!) weather did a fine job at keeping you on your toes. 🤪🤪 Mrs. S’s ‘war wound’ souvenir from the Mawddach riverside trail looked nasty, but hope it looked worse than it felt and soon mended. The recurring musical backdrop manages to be repetitive, while remaining complementary and without being annoying. And the lovely day ride up to Penmaenpool to watch the Qualifying (glad to see you have your priorities in order 👍👍) was rounded off by your very lovely ‘sign-off’ to the gorgeous sunset backdrop. Cael hwyl ac iechyd dda on all your adventures. (= Have fun and good health) 👍👍
hi mr & mrs slaw,------ love your adventures , & particularly the e--bikes, have watched abot 4 vids, all good & well presented,, i also like both your commentary, tis a treat to see e-bikes being ridden sensibly --- most cycling vids on you tube seem to be full of mountain bikers trying to beat the world land speed record !!!!! hope you gonna make more vids of driving uk & e- bike trips regards ----neocombovan08
Thanks Neil! I love my new e-bike, so we are doing quite a bit of cycling. We’ve just put up the Southport Vlog. There are also Chirk and the Cotswolds still to upload. Hopefully you’ve subscribed and clicked the notification bell? Keep your eye out and let us know how you like them 👍🏻
Very entertaining vlogs which we really enjoy. When we last visited the Barmouth area in 2019 the George was sadly closed for refurbishment so it’s great to see it up and running. We are off to Llanberis later in may and June so we will definitely be heading out that way for a pint or two. Cheers
Dogs faces are hilarious in their chariot, looks great that long crossing over the water is amazing especially with the train going past. Drone footage superb, like the legs down sign on the dash board. Slaw top tip!!! we don't have legs but need to retract the step though so might plagiarise your sign :-) Great video
Thank you! Jessie loves the trailer. The leg’s down sign is an absolute must. A van behind us drove off on the Sunday with their legs down 🤦🏻♀️ Buckled and bent!
Hello Mrs Slaw and Slaw I’ve been watching you vlogs for a while now but thought I needed to go back in time. I’ve been watching the ones where you show the seat covers (brilliant idea with the socks Mrs Slaw), the outdoor dog tether, the outdoor panels - can’t remember the correct name for these. Now I’m watching your Barmouth trip with the e-bikes, sorry about your fall. So my list is growing of what we would like to get for our van but one thing I would like to ask is why you have a shelf at the back of your van rather than a bike rack. Sorry to go on but I would like to say thanks for all your tips on Motorhomes and sharing the equipment you buy. Right all that said, I will leave you in peace because I need to watch Day 3 in Barmouth now 😀😀🍺🍷
Barmouth should be paying you for showing the area off. Your video was very well presented and entertaining. Hope Mrs Slaw is ok now. Thanks, from a welsh fella.
Thanks for sharing another great vlog guys glad to see you enjoying yourselves. Having a afternoon in watching everyone’s latest vlogs while it’s pissing it down at Chatsworth
You might want to consider an Insta 360 for your videos, though it would require more post production. It would certainly enable you to choose the best camera angle for the views etc.
OUCH Mrs Slaw! That was NOT supposed to have happened! I felt that - I did the exact same thing the first time I went out on an E-bike too - mine was an Trike though - they are bloomin' heavy! We like Towyn and Barmouth too. Bought our first m'home end of 2019 - so it's our second year with a m'home and travelling cat - our first with bikes! Not brave enough for abroad yet - please convince us to give it a go.
Hi Christine, yes it hurt! I’ve also dropped it again recently 🤦🏻♀️ It is very heavy compared to my pushbike and it’s taking some getting used to. We’ve motorhomed all over Europe pre-vlogging. We would highly recommend it. Hopefully we’ll get to S of France in September. But if not, as soon as we are able to. You’ve got some great memory making ahead of you. Enjoy 👍🏻
Thank you! The bikes are Raleigh Array. A decent price and seem to be very good on our first rides. I found it easy to use and I’m very pleased Slaw talked me into buying one 🤣
Hi I bought an e bike (Raleigh Felix +) brilliant now I overtake my hubby on hills, you still have to work just not as hard or you can switch them off, I know camping caravanning club was doing discount!
Just pick how much you want to spend though I would say go for mid drive over hub drive better choice in my opinion either way there great fun certainly takes the sting out of the hills.
Evening both ….on this video you put your steady is out did you install them or were they fitted on your motorhome would love to know where you got them from thanks in advance love your vlogs x
Hi, considering getting a dog trailer as well but concerned about finding places to securely lock it up for going for a walk. Have you ever had any issues?
Hi, no we’ve taken ours all over Europe with no problems. We have a very long bike cable and some Abus locks. We always chain it to something solid. Railings etc.
Thank you! We’ve had umpteen silver Fiamma ones and they’ve all ripped (usually by the time we get to the south of France 😢 This one is much superior. Very well made. It’s from Taylormade in Huddersfield. www.taylormade-covers.co.uk
@@johnsymington9983 definitely. We’ve had ours for over five years now. We’ve taken it to France, Germany, Belgium and all over the UK. It’s very easy to build and dismantle. When we’re touring, sometimes it’s put up and down most days 👍🏻

Hope she stays upright, unlike me 🤣

Hi Teresa, thanks very much for watching! The steadies were fitted to our van as standard.
Enjoying this series of videos, what mount do you use to mount the camera as you can turn it really easily to change the view?
Thanks Michelle and Nigel, Slaw says the mount was from Amazon - Smatree Double Suction Cup Mount.

Hi John, we transport it in the moho garage and when we’re on site we lock up with the bikes with a long bike lock.
