I just did a little research, and that last story might have been an encounter with Igor Alexandrovich Mirenkov, a Soviet-Belarusian serial killer who murdered boys aged 9 to 13 in Minsk from 1990 to 1993.
So it wasn’t the writer’s friend 💀

a) this was in California
b) he had guns with him
c) it was being armed that saved that woman and her kids and quite possibly the story tellers family too
d) California has stricter gun laws now so if these laws were in place at the time of the story, than the outcome would have been very different

The second story had me in tears, being a mother standing alone against multiple men with two small children in the dark seems terrible, I am really happy the other family was there to help them out

The third story was pretty sad. His friend Sasha was murdered that night. I would have just woken up my Siberian parent, no matter what. I wouldn't have cared if I didn't sit down for a week.
I doubt the mother would have even believed him.

Lmfao bruh no shit in 2010 I was fuckin up some corrupt people that were tryna mess up my life, one night on coming back home theres a bridge that shortcuts back to mine, there was like a cannibal guy stepped out as I stopped my bike to take a drink he ws tryna lunge at me slithering his tongue, I pulled out my wooden baton and whacked him 2 to the chin and one in his knee I got out of there, he mustve been eating people lol

Is anyone else bothered by the first story. Someone comes out of the bushes and u don't think that's even a little suspect. Then after he comes out of the Bushes, when it's getting dark he says they look suspicious
She didnt think a guy coming out of the bushes at night was suspicious so she looked at her phone if your in suspicion of something always keep your head up and eye them down to let them know you know you are there if they start talking to you very creepy and sort of suspiciously talk the same way to them then they might start to think that they aren't really the predator in that situation and might back off especially me since I'm 6'5" and this has worked for me before some guy kept following me down my street and was saying "I'm watching you" and I said in a very calm voice " you really think you are the predator or hunter here but you are really the prey I think you might be mistaken" idk if he was trying to scare me but he bolted the other way 😂
Edit: if you're going out at night please I beg of you people to carry a weapon of some sort the only reason I wasnt afraid to say that to him is because I had a weapon on me for self defense

Ive had many issues with perps in my area, in the UK we have a corrupt GCHQ one night I got off at the tram stop and a woman in a red coat stopped to side eye look at me then look at her phone.
On checking my phone no shit!! it had my picture on her phone and said target identified, I quick time took her phone and smashed it stamping on it, then gave her 2 smacks to the face and said fuck your surveillance and technology and took off, I wonder what they was plotting

The first story, I don’t understand the ending, why didn’t they go back to the place where she had parked? She didn’t get the tags but she must have got a look at the car. Or do a composite sketch of the man and go door to door on that block because it sure sounds to me like the man lived there.
