Used to come here when I was a wee boy in the 80s and have wonderful memories. Stayed in the Alexandra Sol which seemed like the height of luxury at the time. That beach is as amazing as ever!

Hi Alex. We must have just missed you!! My wife and I have just returned from Can Pastilla on Fathers day after 3 nights child free getaway. Stayed at the adult only THB El Cid which was fantastic. Really impressed with the resort for a short break but we did go down to the sea to check it out and that seaweed was disgusting. The water around it looked like an oil spill, such a shame. We're back out with the kids to Cala D'Or in the summer holidays.

Hotel Eden! That's where I stayed last year and absolutely loved it! :) we were right next to some amazing bars like cafeteria delfin. I remember getting into the sea last year, watching planes overhead and it was just magical, I don't think I'll ever replicate that feeling again but I'll keep trying!
Love the seafood restaurants Alex..how much is a large plate of seaweed? Lol. Glad you are getting out and about instead of being stuck at home in front of a computer. Looking hot out there Alex 😊
on a lads holiday in 1980 stayed in arenal which was the magaluf of its day used to popalong to can pastilla then in the early 90s the wife and i stayed in can pastilla once on a planed holiday the other last minute destination on arrival holiday wasnt the same as the 1980 holiday as most of the brits and irish had moved on anyway next week the wife and i will be going to palma nova
My girlfriend and I just came home from a week there. Had a very nice time overall. Bought two paintings from a very interesting egyptian along the beach (I believe his name was Saimah, or something like that).
Not been to arenel since the 80 s was my first holiday abroad with my friend was a young 20 yr old lol. Making up for lost time with husband we trying all majorca
Thanks Alex , but all the years i have been coming to Majorca especially PP iam shocked and disappointed that the Majorcan government has allowed all this to happen ie no beach amenities in PP at all inc no toilets or boardwalks for the disabled wich has enabled some shops to double the price of beach equipment add to this the adverse effect of certain groups on the island telling tourists to go home and to put the top hat on it the cost of coming to the island is at a all time high, sadly this will iam sure make people look elsewhere for next year wich will probably include me even though i love Majorca,my wife is disabled and the beach problems will ruin our holiday as we can't access it wich we had no idea it was going to happen or we may have booked a different resort,travel companies don't care the whole thing leaves a bad taste in our mouths we arrive on Wednesday and we will make the best of it but we are very disappointed that its been allowed to happen and we all no why ,MONEY, they want more of it off the people who put in bids to run it thats why it's been put out to tender again because no one can afford what they want so it may not happen att all this year if they don't get what they want,and if it does the price's for renting beds and brollies will be ridiculous and most people just can't afford it,the only Ray of light in all this Alex is you your the only one who keeps us up to speed otherwise we would be clueless until we arrived and we trust what you say because you don't deal in B S you tell it how it is regardless of who it upsets so Thank you Alex may be they should employ you to advise tourists because they don't ,take care everyone and stay safe were ever you go

Really puts me off going into the water with all that seaweed it looks dirty. Happened last year when on holiday in Palma Nova. Are they saving money or trying to be eco friendly either way it's not good.

A day trip to Palma Mallorca would have to be considered extreme Alex, especially with the shorter daylight hours at this time of year 🛫
