String slam is such a nice move. it's shorter than people think, I'm pretty sure it confirms off of liver shot and even confirms off of knuckle sandwich when on full fleetwork

I was fighting a stone free spin, and they used spin counter into their beat down. I went ‘huh???’ Because I feel like that’s the appropriate response seeing as the counter knocks you down if you aim it at the person, and I watched myself go flying, and then go into a bd mid flight. They went ‘it’s a combo, but you’ve never used one.’ Out of nowhere??? I hadn’t even done anything the 1v1 had literally just started and they were already salty. Not to mention the fact that counter into bd isn’t a combo it’s bug abuse??? Because I’m??? Mid flight??? And he landed it.

You see, the problem with stone free is just his moves, they are definetly not bad but things like string pull doesnt really works unless it gets a buff or acts like grapple with hermit purple. Besides that its not relaliable in battle, plus the windup. And its cancelable, another problem its that alot of stone free moveset, not to mention almost everything is cancelable. the only thing thats not cancelable is string barrier, they should make more moves like the beatdowns and all of that just not be cancelable. Do that and youll see alot of people using stone free, reduce the time it takes to use string bandage, + less point cost and stone free will be balanced and usable
@@medievialknight0351 works on old gens too, string pilot works very well on blockbreak combos because it stuns the enemy after the attack like crazy diamond's ''you're on my range'' ability, so i can confirm 1 or even 2 moves out of landing string pilot, mostly livershot + string slam into heal, but i can even confirm the beatdown out of it, the key to being good with stone free is landing string pilot correctly and finding a way to do a cooldown rotation, like using cutscene moves to kill the cooldown time for string barrier or haymaker, stone free is a pretty good zoner actually! it doesn't zone like RHCP or magician's red but it gets the job done
