This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a modular home! The manufacturer for this house is Nationwide Homes. The model for this home is the “Sea Breeze" This home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,200 square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

The price is crazy ! $775k for a modular home…..WoW Next to an RV Park….
especially since Hurricanes, don't tell anybody.
Not even worth 1/10 of that.
LOCATION, LOCATION LOCATION, the Florida Keys are highly desirable and there's very little land to build on there, so the price is more justified.
Must love stairs, inside and out. Perfect for the healthy and wealthy.

$700K modular homes where you don't own the land. Don't forget insurance and property taxes. Plus the keys experience a hurricane every couple of years. Good luck.
I really absolutely love the layout of this place. My favorite parts car where you can park your cars. I also love the balcony.
So, where this is located this pricing is EXTREMELY LOW. Marathon FL price per square ft is around $1150-$1200 regardless of the year it is built. The keys take a WHILE to get to from the mainland, and if people can stay- they will pay whatever the price is. I found 3 “comparable” homes all within 3 miles of these- they all have less than 1500 sq ft 2bd and 1.5 ba 1 sold for 2.15 million, 1 has a pending sale for 2.21 million, and one is still listed for 2.5 million.
$700,000 is a lot of money to people who are not aware of the property’s real value.
This place is definitely for the way upper class. Those RVs can cost as much as a house!

Paradise looking more and more crowded, like a dense town or city. Places most folks try to get away from but always seems to gravitate back to.
I live in key west and the drive down the keys is absolutely beautiful being surrounded by the ocean. It’s definitely worth it if you ever get the opportunity to visit.

The view is being RUINED by the garbage like this being developed.
I like the ac unit next to the patio/balcony. Nothing says relaxing outdoors more than listening to an ac drone on and on😅

@@rea8755 Though the balcony is really the only place where they could have put the AC unit. Almost all the space on the ground under the houses is devoted to parking and walking paths, so there's no real yard.
You answered my question: I was wondering about hurricanes. The houses are so pretty they look like pastel candy.
I'm pretty sure those houses are resistant enough to hurricanes to meet code. Remember, modular homes are built to similar standards as most site built houses. In fact, modular homes are usually a little stronger than many site-built homes.
WOW, what a beautiful home! A huge shout-out to Nationwide and Chance for sharing this gorgeous home. The price is outrageous though. Wished places were nicer on their prices for middle to lower class folks.
@@corayoung6354 Although like everything else, a house is primarily worth what people are willing to pay for it and in a highly desirable location commands quite a premium. But I do get your point, mobile and modular home manufacturers should also make affordable housing.
I wouldn’t mind it if it was in the middle of the woods, but I would lose my mind if I had to live that close to a neighbor
As a firefighter I’d say these would have be horrible in a fire or even an Ems emergency if they had to carry someone down to the ground . . Thinking vacation homes and snow birds are usually older people . Would suck having to carry a patient down those steps

Key West Butterfly and nature conservatory is amazing and beautiful and kids love the experience.
Yup I'm a Conch local and agree, also check out Flamingo ice cream across the street being homemade over 45 yrs, or A&B lobster house.
I'm in LOVE, the only thing missing that I would need is an elevator.
And BATH
In my comment it said ( I would need ) I don't need a Tub, with my disability I can't get in and out of a Tub.
Chance, we don't have furnaces here in Florida. What is in that closet upstairs is just the A/C unit.

It is beautiful but WOW on the price!! My goodness! Not good Chance.. Most just want a home to live in and can afford. The insurance alone on this will be outrageous! All those stairs makes it impossible for me to even rent one of those places, even if I do want to go to a place that populated - which mostly we don't! And buying the house but Not owning the land? And having to pay rent for the land too? No way!!! But places like that seem to be pretty popular, although to us, they would be a nightmare!! I wouldn't mind to visit for a week (in something without stairs!), but after that, get me away from the madness!!

I am 75 and we had a ping pong table in the cellar growing up. We also had horses, ponies and other animals.

I really really like the home, the layout etc. I would love to purchase this home and put it on my own piece of property. The resort is beautiful is beautiful but I'd prefer to not have neighbors so close. Lol

My concern is stairs. I can't stand stairs, they are a death trap. Love ranch style homes, all one level, lots of space!

I believe the kitchen outlets are under the cabinets.

I was born and raised in the Keys, living back down here now after a 20 yr career in banking wealth management, now caregiver for disabled mom. These are so overpriced! If you are looking for a home in the Keys prices have dropped considerably in the last yr. Work with a local realtor like Rose Dell who has been selling real estate over 30 yrs. I'm sure she can find you something way better than these cookie cut upscale trailer parks starting 700k.
These shouldn't be over $200 k (USD) total rip off!!!

These used to be trailers... On this property.
When Irma hit these all stood strong and we were building the marina at the time. It.was a major clusterfuck going through that. But the homes.stood a direct hit.

Lets be for for real, these are 2 cargo crates stacked on each other on high heels!! The same was done at Flamingo, Everglades National Park except the parks version was hella lot nicer looking.
The weather is wonderful if you come from a change of seasons, but for the Floridians it’s hot or hotter 😂

At first sight. I thought.....errrm! It looked like a shipping container on top of a shipping container. But inside....OMG. it was massive. I live in a 3 bedroom end of terrace house in the UK. Its nothing like the size of these. I would love one.
Just one question. Could you professionally close of the ground floor. Leaving sufficient space for the car. But more importantly. Have a room for the model railway ?

Excellent show - well done. We like to stay in Grassy Key when we’re down there but I have to say these places have an unusual quality not often found in this market - charm. And of course location, location, location.
I’m afraid it’s a bit too rich for our blood so it’s doubly cool to get a good look inside.

My sister just came back from the keys…..she sent me a picture of those! She doesn’t like homes on stilts lol
Such ideal tropical vacation homes for up to 8 people each (up to 12 each if you pick the three bedroom version and outfit two bedrooms with bunk beds and have sofa beds in the communal living areas)! The homes will likely always remain fully booked except during hurricanes, as the Florida Keys are such a eutopia for many people, this resort has plenty of amenities to keep vacationers busy having kilotons of fun, the two-story arrangements of these houses make for nice separation and more privacy for various members of the party, etc. The perfect formula for a tropical vacation rental if you ask me!
Just in case someone was wondering, have any of these homes been designed for wheelchair accessible?
Why on earth will they have the outlets in the cabinets? Would that be awkward trying to use small appliances.

Can you imagine when a 75-95 mph wind gets up against the side of that thing?

Anything to skim the consumer who gets blinded when they see a few palm trees.
The ones built withstood hurricane Irma and that was basically a direct hit. I was working in this development during the storm and the marina was half built... All our form work was destroyed.

I've stayed in Key Largo, Islamorada and Marathon several times! Hubby and I love the keys! We would have bought property down there if we didn't already have property in Punta Gorda.
