I am 75 now - born and raised in NYC, lived near UnionSquare/14th street from 1975-2019. Many of these rain locales are my 'back yard', where i traveled, walked and shopped. We now make our home in New Orleans, another marvelous city. But smaller buildings, friendlier people, but... scaled down to human size. This vid brings back great Gotham memories. Many thanks!!!

I've always loved when it rains growing up as a kid my mom was from Virginia we will spend Summers there and it would rain seems like so hard it was crazy we turn all the lights off in the house and sit on the front porch and watch God do his work out of respect these days I believe God makes it rain like this to clean out and drain some of the evil that lurks around us 🙏👍💪😁🇺🇲

I still love NYC but if you want a great walk in a beautiful city, try Seattle in September. Gentle rain, colored leaves, & water all around which can see from one of the many hills. Mountains, seaplanes, ferries & an occasional orca or dolphin. Coffee & more coffee. Even Mickie D makes above par espresso in Seattle.
I will go to Seattle in the winter

I’ve been in New York many times. It’s nothing but police sirens, ambulance sirens, jackhammers, and people urinating on the sidewalks. It’s only fun for about two hours and I just want to leave. At city is absolutely disgusting. Go down to a subway and take a train ride. I saw a rat and they’re so big it look like a small cat.
You are absolutely right, 😂 but trust me no place is like NYC. Everything is at ur fingertips you don’t have to drive. U don’t see same faces 😂 New York is very big go to upstate NY or Long Island, staten island u will see totally different vibes. I love New York specially when it’s snowing
