As much as I love slowed music and how much of a literal diehard linkin park fan I am, I never even thought of slowing this song down.
This song is deeply powerfull. I've cried everytime i've listened to it. I like to see it the way that speaks for all of us who have something to say, but we can't, or we have no one left to cry to. An all time masterpiece.
i feel as though this song slowly but very surely became a message from my past ambitious self to my completely wrecked self in the present, i’ve become something my past self would utterly despise, i would do anything to look like my old self, but every step i make back is a deeper stab in the open wound.

Well said dude. That's what good music does for me too.
This song lowkey resonates with me since when i was younger, i put up this "friendly" facade to attempt to fit in and make some friends but along the way i abandoned that facade since some of the people i met are just dicks and become myself. Essentially i told myself that "I'm tired of being what you want me to be" which ironically was one of the lyrics in the song. Since then, i'm alot happier. Another reason is that in 2018 i was in a terrible mental state that in some days, i quite became numb and cried myself to sleep some nights but 4 years, i'm in a better mental state but i still have some days where i feel absolutely worthless and have no purpose but they are extremely rare.
