- In the early hours of the morning on the 14th of May, 9:06am. Ashburton 627 & 621 responded to a false alarm, 10-15 minutes later returning back to station.
28-35 hours on a 7 day basis it took me to get this video today. That's 4-5 hours a day. We finally caught the siren as it went off Tuesday. Definitely worth the time spent.
Thanks to the Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade for allowing me to record them responding.

Love the man in the suit dashing to the station to crew up for the call, keep up the good work lads.
They are always eager to help our community, very lovely people. Thank you for the kind comment 😊
@@NZEmergencyGroup Very nice station, appliances all presented in top order too.

Nice catches keep it up
Thank you 😁
Great catches , always looks good when they're coming out of the station.
Yeah it sure does! Also thank you 😊
Good work man keep it up
Thanks very much!
At last, they have got a good colour scheme for their vehicles. Previously, they had a lot of navy blue at the bottom, which just looked wrong.
Yeah I think you are referring to the (FENZ Type 3 Appliance) It definitely isn't my favourite. They do look strange with the blue on the lower part of the appliances. The FENZ Type 1 & 2 Appliance is much better.
Love the Siren it sounds Just like the Broadmoor Hospital Siren!
Oh really? It is an old WWII carter siren, so it may be the same one back in England. Pretty cool :D
@@NZEmergencyGroup I imagine it is. If you live in and Crowthorn Berkshire the siren would mean high security mental health patient has escaped and people would lock themselves inside. Great video. If you search WMAS 5171 responding you will find my RRV on a blue light run.
@@patrickvennard838 I see, that isn't good then (yikes), yeah if you ever come to New Zealand you hear them almost every day in most small townships. All volunteer brigades use them. Sure I will check that out now 👍
Great video, liked and shared 👍🏻🚒
Thank you so much for the support, we appreciate that a lot 😊 glad you enjoyed this one!
@@NZEmergencyGroup It's alright, happy to help and yep, indeed i did 👍🏻
When I was a pump driver at chester. We had the siren to call in the on call frie men .When it went off you would just run 🏃♂️ long time ago now retired after 18 driving pumps in the uk
Good on you Graham! Cheers for your comment and we appreciate your service, very long time ago indeed - our siren still goes off to this day. Very lucky here in NZ.
