Hi Antony. Go to Image Select SCALE TO NEW SIZE. Here you can resize your canvas or image. Start with your print size. Let's say it says that your canvas is 1 inch in width and 1 inch in height. The resolution is 300 PPI. Type your new values in the Width and Height input boxes and make sure the chain link is connected if you want to keep the aspect ratio. If you really want to change how your canvas looks like, of course you can unlink the chain. As you changed the print size, you will notice that the pixel dimensions changed as well. Right below there is a drop down menu, called FILTER. Open it and choose nearest neighbor. This will allow the changes to be more precise and neater. I hope this helped.
Hi, how could i resize the canvas using crop tool "c" proportionally? i try to resize the canvas but the when i hold "shift" nothing happens and only the side i'm pulling is resizing.
1) First, make sure that your TOOL OPTIONS docker is available and easy to see when you grab your crop tool. 2) Grab your crop tool or click "C" on your keyboard to activate the tool. 3a) In the TOOL OPTIONS docker, check the box CENTER. This will keep the crop area centered. 3b) Or check the box GROW to expand the crop box however you want it to be. 3c) Another option is to enter specific dimensions in the input boxes (X, Y, Width, and Height) 4) By the "APPLIES TO" drop-down menu, select CANVAS when you want to crop the canvas. 5) Create your cropping area by dragging several corners of the cropping box one at a time or just one corner (depending on what you are trying to do). 6) Also, you can move the cropping box wherever you want it to be. To do so, hover over the box and when the four-headed arrow appears, you can move the cropping box. 7) When you are happy with your cropping area, click on the button CROP or hit ENTER on your keyboard. I hope this helps. I am not aware of a specific button that can crop proportionally. Good luck.
