It’s one of the greatest country songs in the last 20 years. I don’t think people realize how amazing this song is from words, to the tone of the voice/words coming from his mouth, the instruments and how they flow, and the way they can go from high to low…. To back. CHILLS. In my opinion one of the greatest country songs EVER. I really hope this song gets the credit it deserves in time.
It’s truly a masterpiece. And I hate today’s country but man… it’s like you can hear the hurt in his voice and great artists can do that. Reminds me of George Jones in how this guy can express that feeling through the tone in his words.

I love this song, though I dont think the tempo in the final verse the right call. It felt a little jarring changing speed so sudden, if they tripled down with the slow tempo on that final verse to drive the song home it would be chefs kiss 😙👌🏼
