Not only one of their best albums but also one of the best Rock Albums and n my lifetime. UFO is criminally underrated. Michael Schenker is in my Top 10 guitarists of all time, saw him 3 times with the classic UFO lineup and once in the classic MSG lineup, he was beyond magnificent, he torched the stage but hardly moved, just unleashed a blizzard of notes, hunched over his Gibson Flying V Guitar. Truly one of the great bands ever!
I totally agree with you except for one thing Michael Shenker is God he is by far the best very few guitarist play with the feeling he has got the pleasure of meeting him and his wife I shook his hand and I told him I said you know what I shook the hand of god truly a Kodak moment I'll never forget
@@Barons-x9ySchenker is not God! He hated all that. That's why he left. He's a fine guitarist but UFO were never about just one guitarist. They had many eras from Mick Bolton, Schenker, Paul Chapman, Tommy McClendon, Laurence Archer and Vinnie Moore. All of whom produce some of the best hard rock ever.
I first heard this in 1979 …. I was 16 l am now 62 and l still listen to it……. LOUD. l was lucky enough to see them live quite a few times back in the 80s. They were amazing Pete Way the epitome of cool.
🤘👹🤘 "FUCK YEAH"!!! Some of the best music made during the 70's!!! And a little bit before if I am understanding UFO's career right??? But I was born in February of 1962, and I was in jr high school when I first discovered this BADASS outfit, and I have loved everything UFO ever since!!! But I do definitely have my favorite albums, and this is one of them along with Light's Out and The Wild, Willing And The Innocent!!! Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️
I was born 1961 to share with you. I always like UFO. My first UFO album I bought when I was 16 or 17 years of age was Lights Out ruclips.net/video/bM9nqqhe1ek/видео.html
@MMo-i4q7k Yeah, I was born one year later, and Light's Out was my first UFO album I bought as well, however I had heard some UFO music that was on the album or two before Lights Out due to FM rock radio in the Allegheny River area in Pennsylvania, and of course with us both being almost the same age, my first UFO experiences was about the same age!!! And one thing more I'll add is that my wife and I got to see them live in Ft Wayne Indiana at the Ft Wayne Memorial Coliseum as the second headliner to Nazareth!!! And when Joe Perry had left Aerosmith for a few, his band The Joe Perry Project opened the show touring for his album Let The Music Do The Talking!!! (Ernie Wilber) 🤘👹🤘✌️
UFO - Obsession - -From Wikipedia - - Obsession is the seventh studio album by English rock band UFO, released in 1978. This was the final studio album to feature Michael Schenker on lead guitar until he returned to the band in 1993. A single from the album, "Only You Can Rock Me" / "Cherry", was also released in 1978. So too was the band's first three-track EP "Only You Can Rock Me", "Cherry" / "Rock Bottom", reaching No. 50 in the UK.[which?] The album was recorded at an abandoned post office in Los Angeles. - - Reviewing the LP in Christgau's Record Guide: Rock Albums of the Seventies (1981), Robert Christgau wrote: "I've admired their forward motion and facile riffs, so it's my duty to report that they've degenerated into the usual exhibitionism. Theme song: 'Lookin' Out for No. 1,' a turn of phrase that's becoming as much of a watchword in late '70s rock as 'get together' was in the late '60s."
