Nice Ben! Been following your Force tutorials for a while now and learnt a lot. Many thanks for doing them. This one for me is a game changer though. I upgraded from MPC to force to try and create live remixes using the force and acapellas. This seems a great way to play acapellas without the headaches of sorting out the timing, setting a drum program and importing into force (use Rip X atm for acapellas). Long time user of Traktor so would be handy to know if I can map traktor decks to virtual DJ instead as it looks like NI want me to upgrade to paid subs when they eventually bring out stem separation.......
I had virtual D.J and got rid of it cos I thought the Koala app was better for stems but having watched this I’m going back to Virtual D.J …. Cheers Tom. 😊😊
Link connects via your WiFi, so anything that has Ableton Link function can be used the same way. Obviously, the audio is sent the normal way, from audio cables, inputs, outputs, etc...
VDJ won't with the Force, your only using it for putting samples in, in real-time via audio ins. Just record like normal straight into clips with link switched on both, then play Force first and then VDJ on the downbeat.
@@nicethings I’m useless didont explain very well Tom what I meen is on VD you no you have the button for Vocal Beat and so on there’s none and not sure how I put them on VD as In add the Stem button

i got vdj but at the pads theres nothing there how do i set up the stem stuff as dont have a clue thx ?
