Actually no, when you buy a new ferrari from an official ferrari dealership it is written in the contract what you can and cannot do. If you're not ok with it just don't buy a ferrari, it will not be a problem for them since they have a long waiting list. The paint is not the problem tho. The problem was that he removed ferrari emblems from the car

Dealing with a Ferrari is complete pain in the ass. I do not own one, but a guy at my work has one and he said just to get its maintenance done at a different dealer. (He bought it in Chicago but they just opened one in Minneapolis.) He had to write a letter to Maranello asking permission.
