Greetings Sir. I understand the point you are making sir. But please can you explain the scripture that says the Son of man came to SEEK and to SAVE that which was lost.
@ebidominic2778 First, read Luke 19 from verse 1. Then when you get to verse 10 you'll understand what the chapter is saying. It says FOR (Because) the Son of man has come to seek and save that which was lost (NKJV). Meaning, this statement is made in context of what was happening in the text. What do you see happening in the text? Zacheaus DESIRED TO SEE JESUS but he could not because of his small stature. He runs ahead of the crowd and climbs a tree. That's the great extent Zacheus went to see Jesus. He goes to seek Jesus out. Jesus didn't leave others going to look for Zacheaus. Then... There is: Repentance Restitution Zacheous receives Jesus joyfully Jesus tells him salvation has come to his house. It's on the basis of all of the above Jesus makes the statement in verse 10. So read it carefully... You'll get what Jesus was trying to show us there.

Then... There is:
Repentance
Restitution
Zacheous receives Jesus joyfully
Jesus tells him salvation has come to his house.
It's on the basis of all of the above Jesus makes the statement in verse 10.
So read it carefully... You'll get what Jesus was trying to show us there.
