I was shocked to hear the newsof Poly's death from my brother today. Since I got home I've been listening to Germ Free Adolescentson vinyl and looking up vids on RUclips. Poly with her powerful lungs and Xray Spex with their mighty tunes stirred a passion in my heart when I was a youth that lives on today. RIP Poly and previously demised Jak Airport.
I have had a handful of GREAT punk compilations over the years: Let them Eat Jellybeans all the Rodney on the Rock comps "We do 'em our way" and the compilation that I found this song on in 1979
Don't listen to Peter. Buy the whole album "Germ Free Adolescents". Most of the compilations have a lot of filler. And nobody sounded like x ray spex. Oh, here's the whole album off youtube. You need to put "double u double u double u dot you tube. com". watch?v=k6IzDA-3UsQ

Buy yourself one of those 'best of Punk' compilations. This song is on a lot of those.
I never said they represent punk well. It's easy to find an X-ray Spex song on one.
Up yours!!!!

I don't agree with that point of view
