That’s awesome, congrats for getting your papers. The last time I lived in Mexico I tried to be legal and it was such an eye opener. Legal to work I mean.
So happy for you Simone, for both of you really as this gives you permanence and predictability. You'll be able to plan further out and perhaps resume traveling more. I'll be in Playa del Carmen at the end of April - sent you guys an email via your website about potentially meeting. If your schedule permits it would be lovely. No pressure of course 😊
Absolutely, this means Mexico will be my forever home aside of my home country. Yes, amiga we saw it today and have replied. Thank you so much for your support as always 🫶❤️🙏
Okay, now I have my dual residency and don’t live there 6 months outta the year. How does one pay bills from afar? I’d live to see a video on explain how. Also finding it very difficult to pay the water bill. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Awesome, if you are thinking of paying bills the best way will be using Mercado Pago here mpago.li/2syakaN We talk about paying bills and more in our *_Moving to Playa del Carmen Guide_* fortheroadtravels.com/product/the-locals-guide-to-living-in-playa-del-carmen/ Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏❤️🫶
@@ForTheRoadTravelsThanks I do use Xoom wondering if you’ve discovered any app that can pay the water bill. Seems XoXo is the only way in person. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks.
I'm curious about that special program. I have an entrance stamp Mar 2024 but no exit stamp. Theoretically, if I were to re-enter w/ out getting a stamp, maybe from the Southern border after Sept 2024 it will look like an expired stamp. I wonder if I can go & apply for the program than.
Sargazo now is arriving to the coast but it’s hard to predict. We highly suggest checking Red Monitoreo de Sargazo for daily updates on this situation 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼. Thanks for watching and commenting 🫶❤️
Simone, I congratulate you on your Spanish improvement. Keep practicing and before you know it you will be totally fluent. Giovanni should only talk to you in Spanish and you will see how much it will help you. I was missing your videos. ❤
5:57 $7300US per month is $87,600/year. That's a lot. I wonder how they got those numbers. The vast majority of the world doesn't make that. US$87,600/year is probably in top 2% worldwide.
Yes, we get *blown* away by the requirements, due to the influx of foreigners moving to the country, we imagine the financial requirements had to go up ☹️.
Hi, Great vid and congrats. I am from Haiti, I am currently living in Mexico City. Been Here for about 6 months. My question is: Is it possible for me to apply for permanent residency if I don't have any work here or any source of income? And how can I go about doing that if possible? Thank you in advance for your reply.
It is hard to say, we will highly suggest checking Legally in Mexico Facebook group the can give you some guidance there amigo. Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏🏼🙏🏼🫶❤️
Yes my immigration lawyers are my heroes too. They made my life so much easier 😭 … especially when I accidentally misspelled my own last name in Armenian for my Armenian citizenship 🫠🫠🫠🫠 LOL
Yes, they can be lifesavers, *Milly* was great at handling all the processes, making it smoother. Really, must have been a pain correcting it, at least you have them to guide you. Saludos amiga, we are sending you a big big hug. 🫶🤗

You will need to have a stamp in your passport from a prior entry between 2015 to 2022.

That's almost MXN$1,500,000/year. You are a Mexican millionaire at that point.
That's true
