Yeah, skateboards are really cursed in this. Back in VCR GTA 2 (Dec 2023), Aki accidentally hotkeyed her skateboard while riding a heli and shi really hit the fan. There was also the one time her skateboard ended her as she hit the ledge of a sidewalk, and then trying to get her to a doctor almost destroyed another heli. Or maybe it was the same one, it's been a while. In this case, Mumei was caught between walls (trying to ride up walls usually has your character fall over, but there's no space for that in that tiny room) and it looked like the momentum saved up? in the skateboard? gave her another whack leading her to fall through the floor... man. Oh, cool, the following clip with Ina actually illustrates what I wanted to say pretty well lol basically, even medics looking to heal people walking into a skateboard stuck in a "fallen over" state can get blown up. OH, and the car glitching through the air is literally what happens if you accidentally "activate" your skateboard inside a helicopter.
Who knew a skateboard could create so much chaos and havoc xD I'll have to watch that Aki clip, that sounds hilarious! And cheers for the break down on what happened to Moom and Ina, it makes more sense and no sense at the same time xD
