Thanks for posting these, TB1. As a tester, what's your opinion on Gauge 3 in the context of online matches? I find that time trials are perfect for this speed and super satisfying; but the chaos of added offense/defense items can make everything make it anyone's game.
Gear 3 is pretty fast! That’s why it’s only on harder difficulties in GP. For online, I’d say it’s fine but I think it’s cool how people ask to go back to Gear 2 in netgames because they got tired of how fast Gear 3 was. A good balance of a chill race and a chaotic race.
I can't even imagine how annoying it is to lose your lap bonus right at the end of the lap due to these cheating bastards. Well played all throughout though
It’s just like Need for Speed Underground where the rival starts moving at light speed for no reason sometimes, ain’t it? Could be worse. The bots could phase through walls, ignore getting hurt when you’re not looking at them, and stuff like that. I just get used to it…
@@ItsCenrryTH Rival AI bots are still getting looked so don’t worry about it too much. Also we DID. The slowest ghosts on TT are from our testers that had little to no experience in either kart v1. Also had a demo at magfest earlier this year. Rubberband AI is just a natural part of CPUs in video games.
that drift + wavedash into the springs on Panic City had my jaw hit the floor

God, the AI cheats so much...
Why the hell did Kart Krew think adding both forms of rubberbanding was a good idea??

@@Dave15166 Goodness gracious...
See, this is why you take playtesters from outside your friend group

Yes rubberband AI is a thing but I think the devs went a bit overboard with it. It's a bit better now but holy crap was it bad before
how do you get the jp music for the special stage?
It’s an alt music for the cd special stages you can unlock.
