I’ve played this game for about a week or so and I can’t tell you how often I’ve been glitched into a voidless ocean while hand holding. The first time it happened, I panicked and honked for a solid 5 mins 😂
Relate to half of these, a quarter of these I am cool not ever experiencing, another quarter I am all, "I want to meet the penguin!" Or see some the OOBs. Maybe it is comfort level, but I don't know how to cope with some of the emotes? The kissy heart one is the worst cause I know it is meant as sweet maybe. Too soon. Feels strange if I am chatting with someone and we actually get to talking and heart emojis float up. Makes it uncomfortable likes, eeeeeeeeh... cute but not what I mean at all and I hope you don't mean that either. Eta: American here. It probably just is a cultural difference. My fave emotes are bubbles, bowing, waving, spark works (which needs to show up again so I can level up), and probably the chill floating one just hanging out. I feel more comfortable with those and the heart and lovey ones are just sooooo... like, I don't know you. Eta again: apologies for feeling the need to comment on awkward emoji moments cause I think nobody ever means any strangeness in this game.... ... I really did enjoy this video. I get trapped in all of the places. I felt panic, delight, and wonder at moments in this video so Def A++

Ah I completely understand how you feel! I definitely don’t mean it beyond friendship when I use those emotes. I generally play with other sky kids who I’ve known for a while so I’m pretty secure in the fact that they don’t get the wrong idea or take things too far. It’s mainly something I do with my discord buddies too. I’m also American and I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with that level of friendliness in face to face conversations. As for context I threw together a mini tea party in daylight and me and that sky kid, amongst others, performed music. So it was 100% appreciation. ^^ I tend to use the dancing emotes and the “ah my heart” one when busting my UwUs. I can see how it may be uncomfortable and also taken the wrong way >~
i found the hearts weird at first too but i quickly realized that ppl in sky mean it in a very nice, platonic way ^_^ ive grown to like it (im also american)
Wisteria Flower Event, this years Days of Bloom event. The flowers grew during the course of a week, and we placed tea sets in the area (the event itself was in the entrance of hidden forest).
