Someone else told me that the EVO 2 v2 would not work with the live deck is this true? I currently own an EVO 1 with live deck and love it. Looking to upgrade soon to the Evo 2 v2.
@@AerialInfluence Not likely. The V2 Chipset does NOT do dual connections to the drone. Period. I have 2 V2 Aircraft and a V2 Smart Controller arriving thus week. If there's no multiple pairing to the video you won't see a new Live Deck in V2.

I would love to see if these smart controllers have any real range? Some say they are good for 8.1 miles or 13 kilometres. I am looking for someone to find out what the ACTUAL range on these are in reality. Any chance of you doing a range test? Thanks...............Dale.
Hypothetically if it goes 8 mi out it's always going to die on the return, you still have the same 35 minutes of battery 😂😂😂.. you paid $1,200 for a smart controller that could go to the moon but you got 35 minutes to get there 😂😂😂
I suspect Autel "transitioned" to a new chipset less because of supply and more because ZTE has been off and on the US Government "Entity List" and they had the (V2 based) Enterprise Version in the works. I have a V2 E2P and with some luck I MIGHT get a V2 Smart Controller this week. It's been a long wait!
I know Autel is supposed to come out with a mini drone later this year. Hopefully it will be compatible with their smart controller. I was surprised Randall left, but he clashed with the ownership. Autel will be ok though! Tom
Autel Nano, Nano + Evo Lite won't work with either Evo 2 controller, OR Smart Controller V1 OR V2. Brand new controller. This is what Autel told a reliable source late last week.
@@BlairAir , I think that world be a mistake on their part! Some people will want the simplicity of just using a smart controller with their drone! And not have to mess with a phone or anything.
@@Okie-Tom Couldn't agree more. Yet this is what an Autel Rep said. Hopefully a misinformed statement. I'm down with Evo Lite concept; I would love a Mavic Air 2 sized Autel. Not sure I need another Mini though and 250 grams is way off Autels previous experience. The Fimi X8 had potential but they mostly dropped the ball, and Hubsan over promised and under delivered. Autel has good engineering, but lacks experience in the micro/mini/nano class. Could be great, but less of a sure thing, in my view. Fortunately I'm not pre-ordering either. My budget is blown on the V2 E2P/V2 Smart Controller. The dual band works really well with only 1 FW update so far.
@@BlairAir , I am wanting to see more specs on the Nano plus! I think Autel would be shooting themselves in the foot if they do not make the smart controller work with the Nano and Lite! I know it would be overkill to use a smart controller with these drones but the idea to not have to hook up a phone and be able to have a controller with all those nits would be wonderful. There will be some fliers that will want to use these with the smart controller. We will see! Take care. Tom
@@therandomnessofeverythinga7045 Inappropriate response ! Im not concerned one way or the other, but nonetheless, why don't you seek clarification from Autel, who specifically advised 500 v1 smart controllers were supplied to the USA market ! I didn't get mine from a USA vendor, so maybe there are 501, LOL !

Any idea if this unit would work with the upcoming Autel Nano series?

Thank you C-Lark!
Great video! Just subscribed! Thank you
Thank you!
is the SC controller battery replaceable?
Yes Autel Robotics is stepping up! Where are you guys located?
We are 45 minutes west of Chicago in Elburn, IL.

From what we’ve been told, there will be a Live Deck V2. And your V1 Live deck, will not work with a V2 drone.

Great video.
I own the 640T. There is an option to change from Celsius to Farenheit. I can check how later on.
If you find it, let me know.

Hi is this controller compatible with the Autel 2 + .
There is a version available for the V2.
Any word on V2 Live Deck?
Autel has no plans for a V2 live deck. The V2 chipset does not allow dual pairing to the signal.
Doesn't it come with a lanyard ?
It does. I put that in text on screen. Just got so excited I forgot to look through the whole box.

So many "that's what she said" jokes in this video.
Lol! Wish you were wrong…
I heard only 500 v1 smart controllers were supplied to the USA. The balance were supplied elsewhere worldwide.
