I have probably watched ALL of the microlink videos on YT LOL and you by FAR have one of the BEST that I've viewed thus far............I am really thinking about getting this done but really want to make sure before paying 700.00 my hair is very dense HOWEVER the strands are VERY fine! so I have to be very careful the 1st and last sew-in I got cased me to lose over 80% of my natural hair.........my braids dreaded underneath the sew-in just from my sweating (working-out, showers, etc.) and I literally had to cut my braids lose :( . With that in mind LOL did this style cause you any breakage and was it heavy on your scalp? thanks so much!
Sorry for the late response but I did have a lot of breakage in the middle back and had to cut my hair very short. I will me doing an update on them since it’s been a year since having them.
@@Deenaroshell Bummer. What do you think caused the breakage? I have tips right now and I’ve had them for about four months. I love them!! But breakage is definitely a concern.
@@nycdyke2867 OMG YES!!! I actually had really long hair before I installed the tips. My hair was bra strap length. But it’s very fine so I wanted volume. The tips were not good for my hair. It resulted in my hair becoming thin. I had the tips installed on fine hair now I have thin hair. I had to cut 10 inches off my hair so now I have shoulder length hair. And it is really thin. As a result I am wearing a wig until it grows out again
I was wondering, how would you describe your natural hair? I have 4a shoulder length hair that’s pretty thick and I was wondering if itips blend with thick and longer hair
More of my 4a texture is in the middle of my head and the outsides are 3c. I think they would blend well. My biggest struggle is taking care of the middle bc it shrinks more than the itips so that is something to consider. I hope this helps 😊
The length I have in 26 inches and it took about 3 hours to install. I went to my stylist with my hair washed and blown out so it cut out that time it took.
Nice results.

Deena Roshell it does! Thanks so much! Would you say that the middle of your hair still blends well?
Kenyana Whitehorn yes it does! With the texture of the hair it blends great! Better than my front since my hair in the front is a looser curl 😌
Deena Roshell thanks so much! You’ve been such a help
About what length did you use and how long did it take
The length I have in 26 inches and it took about 3 hours to install. I went to my stylist with my hair washed and blown out so it cut out that time it took.
How many bundles of links did you need?
You’ll need between 150-200 itip so 2 bundles. Some companies sell them in bundles of 50 or 100.
