FC Den Bosch - NAC 0-3 (June 13th, 1993)

After eight years in League 2, Breda's professional football side NAC finally succeeded in securing promotion to the top flight of Dutch football in 1993. In a promotion play-off with two other teams, De Graafschap and FC Den Bosch, NAC won all four matches, the deciding one being the away game in Den Bosch, which was won 0-3. A huge crowd of supporters followed NAC to Den Bosch to attend the all-important match and join in the celebrations.

Na acht jaar in de eerste divisie slaagde NAC uit Breda er in 1993 eindelijk in promotie af te dwingen naar de eredivisie. In een nacompetitie met De Graafschap en Den Bosch won NAC alle wedstrijden, waarvan de laatste de beslissing bracht: Den Bosch-NAC 0-3. Een enorm supporterslegioen vergezelde de geelzwarten naar Den Bosch en maakte er een waar volksfeest van.
