great review/comparison !! regarding the confusing hi-res audio situation; the W820NB Plus has hi-res audio wired and wireless whiie W820NB only has hi-res when used wired. hope that cleared that up for you !

Well I have the 820 and bought the 820 plus for my husband. The hi res on the 820 is when you use it plugged, USB C in a computer or cellphone (you'll need and adaptor). The 820 plus has the hi res on Bluetooth as well. That is the difference.
Hello so does this mean the plus has better sq even ldac was off. Because Hi res is automatic right? Hi res only activates on the 820 if wired, but activated wirelessly for the plus. Means the plus has better soundquality
Great review!! Previously owned the 820NB and found they were not loud enough. Based off this review the 820NB Plus is likely the same. No doubt, the cushions are one of the most comfy I have tried. If the old version was updated, odd why they would reissue with only a change of colors and adding ANC.

its kinda funny to me that w700nb could argually be at the same quality or at least one level lower than the w820 series, it has better mic and better battery and with a little bit of equalizing could actually sound the same as w820 series but yeah both the w700 and w820 series are a steal for their price. These are all great choices, some better than others in different categories. I don't envy your position, lol! My personal choice would be Soundcore and the JBL based on those 4 categories you stated.
Hi Antoinette, it depends on what criteria are/is in a headphone - price, SQ, comfort, quality, app, customer support, design... If it's straight up SQ, for example, it'd be a toss up, while ANC would go to the Soundcore.

Have the q30 and after 2 years the plastic broke. Not happy. 😢. Its a great headphone and battery life is still strong, but really why can't they use metal and plastic and not just plastic all the way.

Or maybe because I do multiple takes per device (I'm never happy with just one) and that I shoot multiple devices per session -- they add up. But yes, I could definitely have better cardio, lol!
I work from a couch myself. And got really bad. Sorted my fitness now. But yeah.. look after yourself if you work solo from home. It's good for mental well being as well. But a 30 second run around the house 10 or even 20 times with a good few minutes to cool down and get your breath back shouldn't leave you breathless for the next take. the hardest thing is to add healthy routines for yourself when you work from home. Self motivated ones. Do it man, it will also make you much happier (and anyone you shag)

In my opinion, I would like better multipoint than LDAC, I like good quality music but sometimes the LDAC is just a slight difference, and multipoint is more enjoyable. However, in my personal use of the earbuds i own, is more usable the multipoint and the smart pause features. ill be waiting for more of your reviews. You just need to download Bluetooth equalizer it will make it louder or even too loud

Out of the box 700 sounds way better for me (than 820, without plus).

No change on the ANC front, as far as my ears can tell (plus the fact that Edifier didn't claim any changes in their media release specs).

Depends on whether you want over-the-ear plus ANC (Edifier) or on-the-ear w/o ANC (Sony), among other things. If it's purely SQ, I'd go for the Sony.

Great question... ANC is always a user-side function, which means the person you're talking with will only hear the headphone's phone call processing.

Hey Aaron, it's me again, another entertaining and informative video. In my opinion, I would like better multipoint than LDAC, I like good quality music but sometimes the LDAC is just a slight difference, and multipoint is more enjoyable.

@@gearupaaron Yeah, i do enjoy the high resolution and the lossless quality listening to RAM from daft punk or the scary pockets (thanks for the recommendations I really enjoy their covers since then) for example. However, in my personal use of the earbuds i own, is more usable the multipoint and the smart pause features.
