He actually was decked in the face by a poker pro who passed away a few years ago, the story goes that they argued on the table and they took it outside and the guy knocked them clean out
I stopped watching because of his tirades, he's the most obnoxious, egotistical, hypocrite I ever saw play poker. He blamed all his bad hands not on himself but everyone elses bad play. Phil Ivey continues to be the best poker player of all time imo.

In Reno chased the second full house and was upset when my pal, "slowed rolled" (which is BS), the better FH! Hellmith pays off like the calling station he really is. Lots of rings from low stake entries...what most amateur players can afford for their one shot at the World Series! J-10, versus J-7, he was always second best, perhaps he needs glasses to read the board correctly! Position, with a suited K, takes potentially an ACE due to flush draw... paid to see the flop. Limped in, obviously wanted to see the flop, a 600 raise is not going to get him to fold!
When it comes to playing cash games, Phil is an amateur. He's historically terrible at cash games, and playing high stake tournaments. He's just the goat of WSOP tournaments where you face a lot of weaker competition.
Phil won all his bracelets back when players were not very good. Day after day he has a Phil meltdown haha Phil should go back to poker school and learn how to play. Just because you have a hand doesn't mean it's going to hold up...Any 2 cards can win.
