Taemin is one of the best, most unique solo artists I have ever seen and I am so happy to see him getting the attention he deserves. Such a great interview! He’s so articulate about everything. I respect him so much not only as an artist but as a performer. He talks about how he thinks about not only what the song would sound like but also look like on stage already in the early making of it, and you just know how he manages to get the performance right every time. So much thought goes into it.
I really love this video. I'm not a huge Taemin stan but I do enjoy his music, but hearing him speak on all these facets of music and performance makes me appreciate it even more. It's easy to think someone is just a pretty face and some talent (which is grossly underestimating him even without knowing about him), but he's so eloquent and he communicates his thoughts with such intelligence. I personally love his answer to "the difference between SHINee Taemin and Solo Taemin". Such an interesting and profound point of view. I already respected him, but I found a whole new level of respect for him. Truly an eloquent, skilled, hardworking and humble individual with so much passion for what he does.
