I'm a song writer but i don't know how to play any instruments or make my own beats and I've been using free beats the past two months, I was wondering how free they are? I mean eg I use your beats as a guidance to write and practice writing but when I do finally want to record it I don't use your beat, I show my producer the lyrics, what genre I want it to match and some existing songs for reference but never your beat? Is that okay?
There are no rules in music, so you can do what you want and how you want. I actually don't understand your process a bit. Do you use someone's beat to make a song and it sounds good, but eventually you want to make your own beat, even though that beat from RUclips sounds good? If we talk about beats marked "FREE", then they give the right to use them for free only on RUclips or SoundCloud without making money from the song. And if you have serious plans for a song, you will need to purchase a license that will allow you to earn money from it and upload it to all streaming platforms.
@@imt1mimy process? Let's say for example I use the beat in this video and write lyrics to it and if I really like it I might put my vocals over it, nothing professional just laying it. When I do get to my producer and give him my lyrics I won't tell him the beat I used to get these amazing lyrics, that way he won't make something similar, I'll tell him the genre of the beat I want him to make for my lyrics eg Dark RnB and an existing song that has the same taste eg Daniel d Angelo or Aaryan Shah. Then I'll record the vocals to that. I hope you understand this.
Nice ❤️🔥
thanks!
Hard 🔥
