I’m a life-long Chiefs fan since before Super Bowl 4 (yup, Lenny Dawson..) and last year, my daughter picked a team: the Bengals; LOL !! I think it’s GREAT; Joe BRRRRR is awesome and fun to watch. I think him, and Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Hurts, Tua … all great fresh blood for the NFL. I hope the Bengals have a great season next year, with Mr. BRRRR healthy the whole time.

I always found it odd that basically nobody was comparing losing Tyreek to Calvin retiring. When the Lions were able to spread the ball around the offense actually took a step forward. It was the Lions, so they couldn't sustain it. After watching Veach completely overhauled the OL after the SB loss, everyone said they couldn't do it at WR. Guess what, they did. This team is built so well and the front office and coaching staff work great together. Something most teams can't say.
This is why it pays to have a really good front office and coaching staff.

He changed his game to a dink and dunk passing attack and SHREDDED opposing defenses! The Chiefs defense never got any love all season long, but all they did was put in the work and get A LOT BETTER! Im in the same boat as you!! Im 24 and growing up watching the chiefs was so brutal! My dad has been a fan since Montana got traded to KC. Now to enjoy the super bowls and a whole lotta wins is just by far the best! Thank God I’m a Chiefs fan until the day I die!!

So many of these "sports analysts" have no effin idea what they are talking about. I do thank them for giving some extra fuel to the Chiefs to get it done!
Clearly they WAY overvalued Cheetah in the context of the KC entire offense. And undervalued Mahomes. OK - I get that perception. The defense played a number of rookies - you can't predict how well they will play.....Chiefs D overachieved IMHO so preseason expectation were low. Chargers had huge injury problems - healthy they probably are 3rd best team in AFC (behind Bills and Chiefs ahead of Cincy). Denver's defense was really good - understandable expectations for Wilson were high (but he was horrible.......we'll see if Payton can fix it...I have my doubts). Anyone that picked the Raiders to win the AFC was smoking crack (Eisen this means you - what a horrific take - at least he owns it - even replayed that same clip on his show of him predicting the Raiders to win the AFC West - so he's not afraid to admit he was wrong).
