I think I forgot one main one below.
Sextile ... means they got along when they had to. Perhaps they always had love for each other but it didn’t quite work out. Perhaps still friends and take care of each other. But, out of sight, Out of mind mostly.
There are a few other aspects. I’ll expand on them in time.

My moon and sun are trine in air signs. My mom is a Leo sun, my dad is a Scorpio sun. I have my Aquarius sun in the Leo 5H and my moon in Gemini 9H. My parents dealt with infidelity in their marriage causing a divorce, but they are way better friends. They are very supportive and they talk all the time. Its funny cause both of them asked my brother and me if we wanted them to get back together when we were kids and we said no, that it was better with them not together. So, it makes a lot of sense in terms of the support they have for one another. They tried their relationship twice when I was little, and my dad hints at getting with my mom to this day, but she is not having it. She enjoys their friendship more.
I have a sun square moon aspect. My mom is a Gemini and my dad is a Capricorn. Tbh they should have broken up a long time ago. There is a lot of unresolved issues and it’s a lot of passive-aggressive behavior. It’s frustrating because I’m the only child and I got caught up in their disfunction.
Awww i don’t like when parents stick together through toxic relationships. Sometimes you have to agree to disagree and come to a common ground. Realize it’s just not going to work, and co-parent. Gotta love people from a distance.

I had a feeling you were going to post! There’re no aspects between my sun & moon but my parents had great conflict their entire relationship. Dad was a Virgo, mom (and me) are Pisces with sag moons. And just as you said it took for something to happen for me to break out my own cycle of inner conflict. I just started studying astrology this year so thank you for continuing to share with us💙
I definitely don’t have any aspects with my sun nor moon. I definitely don’t know how to express myself. That’s y im always angry with a person because they always doing something and i don’t put them n their place about it. I said i was definitely changing that. I avoid difficult convos as well becuse i have to express how i feel.
Wow, so many comments prior to mine confirming everything you said! I too can confirm, I’m Capricorn sun & Gemini moon with no aspects, and I’ve never met my father. My mom never married, never told me about him and that was that. She recently passed away, so basically I’m in therapy now 😄 Between that & astrology I’m getting better at life- kudos and blessings to you for sharing the knowledge 💕

My sun and moon are in Cancer. For me, I see the conjunction as having 1 parent. My dad wasn't around
No sun and moon aspects. I'm a Gemini sun, Capricorn moon, Sag rising with a Cancer sun, Scorpio moon mother and a Libra sun father. They have not communicated since I was a child - I do not remember their relationship being anything other than chaotic. I definitely find it difficult to connect with people and opening up is definitely a challenge I'm working on. Wow this was a lot of insight.

Sun square moon - parents divorced when I was 4, there was cheating and lots of constant fighting. Mom is a Pisces sun-Libra moon, dad is an Aries sun-Capricorn moon….I have sag sun, Pisces rising and Capricorn mercury & Saturn
On point! Pisces sun 10H, Libra Moon 5H with no aspects between them. Didn't grow up with my father. I can count on my fingers the number of times I have seen him. Him and my mother's relationship with him have been a complete mystery for my whole life. I didn't start learning about him and their relationship until I met my siblings on my father's side when I was 30. I have definitely struggled with expressing myself in relationships.

My moon and sun trine Aries/Gemini however my father left & never came back to help raise me. But idk if my mom cared b/c she had me and did the best she could. However at one point she couldn’t physically there for me everyday. So... lol that shows up that way.
Sun sq. Pluto.. I grew up in an environment full of domestic violence (targeted towards my mother) and abuse due to my father. During this time he was an alcoholic and addicted to cigarettes (Pisces Sun). These Pluto aspects can be down right morbid.
So my chart is interesting Bc I have sun in Taurus (4th) and Leo moon (7th) so technically they square by house but they don’t make aspect by degree. From my childhood, there was a lot of physical and violent fights happening in my home and also a lot of tension surrounding my parents. For me, this made me become emotionally insecure and not have emotion boundaries that align with who I am. It’s lowkey a struggle internally but imma get through it ❤️❤️

My baby has quintile, which isn’t a bad experience. But the signs usually square. And it was heavy for awhile. I’ve learned how to get out of it for my child. Since I know about the fight. Cant wait to teach her!

I have a sun square moon. My dad is a virgo sun, cancer moon & libra venus while my mom had a taurus sun, virgo moon and venus in gemini. I never once saw my mom and dad argue or even have disagreements as a child (I'm sure they just kept conflicts away from me and handled them when they were alone.) Despite never seeing them have any sort of conflicts I never understood how they got together to begin with. I know how they met of course but they honestly seemed like total opposites right down to love language and compatibility in general. My dad is super affection and needy and my mom was free spirited in her public life, but very serious and emotionally detached at home. Their relationship was always a mystery to me and I always thought even as a kid that if she hadn't passed away they would've either ended up separated (despite seeing zero conflicts) or just kind of settling. There were times I felt like my mom was just with my dad cause she knew he was a good father, husband and provider but I hardly ever saw actual chemistry. Meanwhile my dad was head over heels for my mom. Idk, it was a weird relationship but shout out to them lol.

My moon in cancer and sun in gemini , both in eighth house . They had a toxic relationship and they didn’t last long.
Me and my sister both have sun square moon aspects and my moon is the same as my moms sun and her moon is the same as my dads sun. Definitely a lot of conflict in their relationship, seems like they both wanted kids more than they wanted a good marriage. A lot of competition between them instead of support. And they bred my sister and I to be competitive with each other too... my dad poured everything into my sister and my mom did the same to me leaving both my sister and I feeling totally responsible for one parents happiness and unloved by the other parent.
My sister and I have done a lot of work on this dynamic between ourselves.. but my parents are still playing it out over and over and over again.

Moon conjunct sun I was raised in a single mom household despite that I can say although my dad didn’t raise me if he was more active I do think him and my mom would have gotten along. She never spoke bad about him ever and I think other factors like the fact that they were 15 when they had me play a role in why he wasn’t as involved. Maybe he was a troubled teen but his mother always took care of me so it’s a crazy dynamic I’m super close with my dads mom she is my second mother
Sun in Virgo (6H) Pisces moon (12H) my parents were insufferable growing up. Constantly battling each other. Hardly ever on the same page. Also told them to just break up lol now they no longer speak.
No aspects, crazy relatable. They’ve been with other people for ages (knowing about it) but still live together as a couple even though they fight all the time??? It’s a Plutonic energy where it clearly goes deeper than eyes can see or maybe Saturnine/karmic energy. I gave up trying to figure it out

I have sun in sag moon in cap .... I believe that counts as a square ??? - anyway they always argued over finance 😩😩😩 dad was more laxed mom was always strict manipulative and controlling
i have sun square moon. mom is an aquarius, dad is a scorpio. they never seemed compatible, almost divorced many times growing up, manipulation and control were common themes. i used to struggle a lot w balancing my masculinity and femininity. i also have problems saying how i feel, my aqua moon doesnt help

I have sun trine moon. My father is a leo and mother a capricorn. Just based off sun signs, that combo isn't the greatest. However, my fathers leo sun was falling into my mom's 7th house which is highly compatible, and my mom's moon was in my father's 7th I believe... I think if my mother was less controlling and my dad was not such a free spirit they would'nt have divorced... but I believe them divorcing was for the best of both their mental health.... (lots of jealousy and control issues from my mother's side of things) I have a scorpio moon, go figure.... My dad is a free spirit type, and I have gemini sun...

Sun I don't really see as the father but more Saturn since Saturn teach you especially valuable lessons so it's even more intense if your moon and saturn's conjunct. How do I know this cause many people that I've met who have this conjunct either they have very valuable parents that give them very valuable lessons or can be very emotionally detached and what not. It's just my antique on it the sun yes can be father like but Saturn is definitely the greatest teacher of all since it's ruled by Capricorn

There are zero aspects between my Virgo Moon 2nd house and Aquarius Sun 7th house. My biological dad was not in my life until I was fourteen, so there was no relationship between my parents. My mother met my stepfather when I was one. Even though they were together they were never on the same page. She was always full of anxiety and incredibly manipulative, and he was an alcoholic and drug addict, who came and went a lot. I suppose having zero aspects is how I saw both relationships. They were non-existent. When mom and stepdad were together they were always fighting.

Hey there, I’m just a fellow youtuber but I may be able to help! The Sun represents the father and the moon represents the mother, so your dad has Pisces energy while your mother has Libra energy, regardless of their signs. A birth chart will tell you if they have an aspect (square, trine, etc or no aspect) as well as what these energies mean for you, which you can get on the internet or a free app like TimePassages.
