Just saw this car today. Was brought out to an event in Dallas. Such an amazing sight to see in person.
I was there also! Was talking to the couple that owned it and didn't even know it till the unveiling.
Thought it was funny how everyone was watching the unveil and a Bugatti Chiron was quietly passing behind everybody.
It's truly one of the most amazing vehicles that has ever come from Ford. Glad you got to see it.
One detail I remember about the gt90 was the use of space shuttle tile around the exhaust exit I was a wheels and wings subscriber as a kid 😂

The car was def ahead of its time. I believe it would still hang with todays super cars.

So awesome!! I can't believe they have treated a 1 of 1 like that tho.. and just leave it without the trim on it... kinda hurt, seemed like they didn't care much. Thing had blind spot monitoring in 95.. deserves more respect. Nevertheless beautiful care and at least it's still around
My guess is they are probably worried about damaging the car again if they tried to put it back on the car. Like you said it's a 1 of 1 and just can't run down to the parts store to order a new part lol. I am going to be meeting up with Brent in the fall and hopefully they can have this car running and driving for the video. They take this to shows quite often.

Yea I played that NFS as well. NFS 4 High Stakes was my favorite. I had a poster and a 1/64th diecast car of this GT90 when I was a kid.
@myclassiccarstory Heck yeah bro Need For Speed High Stakes was a top tier game. I had it on PSone & on my Windows 98 PC when I was a kid myself.
@@sonicthejetsetbeat7465 Yea I had mine on the PC. Played the crap out of NFS 3 and then I begged my mom for NFS 4 when it came out. She was like I'm not paying I believe at that time it was around $40-$50 which was a lot of money in 1997. I will still play NFS High Stakes from time to time to this day. Nothing brings back memories like the menu music.

Yep I remember. That was back when NFS always had concept cars in their games. NFS High Stakes was always my favorite NFS title.
