It's crazy at first, but after a few good rides you start becoming used to the power. I used to do the same with motorcycles. I remember when I first got my Tuono 1100, I thought being able to bring it up into a wheelie at 90mph+ without having to use the clutch was crazy. I knew when I bought it that it wasn't the fastest on top end, but I wasn't after top end. I love the midrange and bottom end. With scooters it's all about that acceleration and up hill performance, at least for me.

No he DID go as fast. Most EU highways are 70mph limits, and he hit 113km/h which is exactly 70mph! So he'd be at least able to keep up with middle-land highway traffic on that thing, though maybe not the slightly higher speed of folks using the outer-most lane cos they usually go closer to 80mph.

We sell and work on wepeds here in NYC. Yes wepeds are fast and generally well made but when you have an issue it’s almost impossible to get in contact with them, takes months to get controllers and other parts. This is a weekend scooter for fun, not a daily.

The lower center of gravity actually results in a higher stability, the problem is most performance scooters put their weight high above the center line for the wheels, the weeped has such large wheels the deck sits between them perfectly, resulting in higher stability

I have the inmotion rs electric scooter. Its a beast! The claimed top speed is 68mph. Someone on one of the reviews had it at 72mph. I've had it 62.6mph so far. I guess it depends on how much you weigh. I weigh 225lbs. This scooter in dual mode and power level 4 accelerates violently. It's one hell of an adrenaline rush!!

I own a Fluid-Freeride Eletric scooter called a "Fluid Horizon" that puppy goes 25 MPH and I have the same reaction even after 5 years of riding.
