I met an Arsenal fan at 5pm and he was gloating that they had won 3-0 and we had to face Man City away where they were unbeaten for 50 odd games. He was convinced Spurs would lose at least 3 nil, which would be his idea of a perfect weekend ! Ho ho ho ! I notice he is keeping a very low profile today.
First in goals, second in goal difference and third best defence. Sure looks like a potential top 4 team to me. Just a bit more consistency against teams we should beat and the season could end well. As to the haters we have not been lucky but the exact opposite, for example dominating arsenal and they sneak out a win.
We have to have this energy and will to win against all premier league teams. We cant keep getting complacent if we play like we did today every game we would have an exciting season no doubt.
This is the reason for sticking to one style of play, the more they play it and suss out what they need to be doing in certain situations and the experience of that the better their success rate will be, its like anything in practice, the more you do something and work hard to become better at it the better your success rate will be.
