i played the snes version for so long when the moment to play in the original arcade the soundtrack was a lot better in the snes version than the arcade

I remember that the F-18 (Keaton) was the one which tossed a bomb Edit: I just saw it on another video, Villiam's Harrier calls a squadron of Avro Vulcan bombers that flies all over the screen damaging everything. Yeah I remember this now, but I don't think this "bomb" does make the Harrier invincible does it? Also as you said it does have a delay before making effect.
This version off Sonic Wings is much harder than the arcade version...I 2ALL both arcade and SNES versions playing as Kohful, and I felt more pain on the console version. Impressive skills BTW. You seem to be keen on old school shooters...
TBYVGS BOS Thanks, shmups are pretty much all I play these days. For some reason they stripped out the second loop for the SNES Aero Fighters, so I'm going to play the SFC version and try for the 2-ALL in the future.

I never understood the final boss of this game. Sometimes when you fight it, you fight that super monkey, sometimes just the rocket, sometimes that skull thing... how does that work? Also good job! I was only able to beat this game with savestates back in the day, I should try it out again some time...
The final boss is totally random as far as I can tell. Kind of annoying as the rocket is much easier and also gives you more points than the monkey. The skull thing only appears from the rocket if you don't kill it quickly.

+Sam Stroberg I picked it up several years ago for FAR less than it's going for these days and I'd say no it is not worth that price. You can always buy the Super Famicom version (Sonic Wings) for much less and it's pretty much exactly the same game.

If you play the game long enough, it's not skill, you just figured out the patterns of the game, if the game was completely random, you will never be able to beat it this easily

There are 8 planes. Their ultimate bullets & bombs are different. So it's worth it to play at least 8 times. But i agree $500 is too expensive
