Thank you for watching! My legs aren’t tired at all because I’ve been using Burton’s powder boards. The person who invented powder boards is a genius! I want powder junkies coming from abroad to know that Shiga Kogen has powder as amazing as Hakuba and Niseko, so I’m writing descriptions and thumbnails in English. Please keep watching!
Shiga Kogen is highly recommended. Pros - It's the largest ski resort in Japan (though in reality, it's a group of multiple ski resorts, but there's a common pass that lets you access all of them with one ticket). - Ultra-dry powder snow, brought by the high elevation and extremely low temperatures (about -15°C, 5°F). - It's less crowded since it's not as well-known as places like Hakuba or Niseko. - There's also a famous hot spring nearby where you can see wild monkeys bathing! Cons - While there are fewer staff who can speak in English compared to Hakuba or Niseko, there are still plenty of English-speaking visitors. - The hotels near the ski resort are a bit older compared to those in Hakuba or Niseko. - In early January, there may still be less snow, so the Hakuba area or Niseko area might be a better choice.
YES. On really deep snow, I use my Burton Family Tree Stun Gun. It’s the widest board I have. When I want to enjoy carving as well, I use my Burton Family Tree Hometown Hero.
Wow !
Looks like a quite day too.
love it!
that back leg must have burned a ton of calories lol
