Plain ragi roti like jawar roti,dosa,idli,ragi noodles,ragi papad etc. Ragi flour - boil,cool+Lassi,salt,chopped onion is used in summers in karnataka.Ragi mudde is very tasty with bassaru in Mandya near Bengaluru.

Bristi, I always have been making a mix of Ragi and wheat flour chapati. But now, I will definitely make this stuffed ragi roti. Most likely I will use roasted sweet potato instead of besan. I am from USA and Mumbai. Thank you for saring this healthy recipe.

Yes when I was young ,my mom used to make idlis every Sunday
I got bored of eating them and stopped eating idlis.
But after marriage I tried to perfect them as my in laws liked idlis.
Now nearly 50 years later my granddaughter loves only idlis and dosas and cook them at least twice a week.
Miss my mom who passed away last year at the age of 89.
Amma was a great cook toolike you and very efficient ❤❤

I live in Sydney and I’ve just made 3 of your recipes for my kids and my kids are picky vegetarian eaters so they loved it. Thx for all your help! I’ll give this ragi roti a try! I make ragi sesame and coconut jaggery ghee ladoos for my kids specially in winters (like these days) and they really enjoy it.

Just make the Raagi exactly you made & eat with sambhar! Very good for Diabetics. I came across your blog by default as I love trying healthy vegetarian food of different regions without taam jhaam!
