    It blows my mind how you can achieve a workflow like this considering I just started learning Rhino. Would love to see more of these 👍

    Hi, thank you for the tutorial. Is there a way to use rhino inside revit without having to use Grasshopper? I mean is it possible to simply model in rhino and view it and edit it live in revit

    How to modeling a revit with this workflow but give the possibility to modify in revit, such as change the wall curve?

    Fantastic I loved the concept but I wonder if you guys make a video like " Best Rhino/ Grasshopper plugins that every architect should use " or sth like this, of course, I am not talking about the popular plugins like lunchbox ladybug or sth maybe less known but useful like this plugin inside this video

    how about modeling vision, opaque glass and metal panels spandrels part of this workflow? Panelizing a surface in Rhino with GH and then bringing that as curtain panels to Revit?

    i have an issue when doing the first example, the wall is not created. if I use the element geometry node I can see it as a preview but it will not make the wall. Any ideas why it does work?

    Hi. Can I MODIFY the existing revit walls by rhino.inside.revit ? (Example change the height or top offset etc...). Thanks.

    • @HowtoRhino
      @HowtoRhino  4 года назад +1

      Thanks! Rhino/Grasshopper to Revit transfer is almost in an instant, of course it depends on how big your file is. If you're referring to the Enscape, it lags just a bit and you'd have to click on the window for it to update instantly.

    why you guys not chose Archicad? just asking. Do you have any particular reason?

    • @HowtoRhino
      @HowtoRhino  4 года назад

      Hi Tahmid, good question. The reason is simple. Graphisoft, the company that created Archicad doesn't have plans (at the moment) to open their API so that it can work with Rhino and Grasshopper using Rhino Inside seamless integration. They have their own set of tools for transferring objects from Archicad to Rhino. You can find more about that here: www.graphisoft.com/archicad/rhino-grasshopper/

      @@HowtoRhino Archicad have the Archicad to Grasshopper live connection plugin and also 3dm to Archicad GDL object both which are very powerful.
      Would definitely recommend you look into this.

      Yes, that's on the link I posted above. :)
      It seems there's a lot of interest from Archicad community, so we will definitely create some tutorials in that area as well :)

      @@HowtoRhino it's not that, i was asking because I am already a rhino grasshopper user, started to look into BIM, cant decide which one to choose, revit or archicad, both are same kinda, modelling techniques are also same.. and also i am a follower of this channlel, as most of the things I've learnt about rhino is from this channel, so when i am seeing you running revit... this makes me wonder, should I choose revit too or not. I am currently a 3rd year student and I have some experience on Archicad. Didn't know that graphisoft has not yet done anything about live connection between rhino and archicad. I used to think if grasshopper and archicad are lively connected, so maybe rhino should be doing that as well.

    • @HowtoRhino
      @HowtoRhino  4 года назад +1

      @@TahmidYaasin Archicad or Revit? That's a big question. It really depends. They are both BIM programs and can do similar things. Their purpose is the same. The question that I'd be asking myself if I were you, what are some of the architectural companies that I want to work for after graduation. Which software are they using? Then it will be much clearer for you which one to choose. :)
