This is a video on how to replace the bulbs in you Honda CR-V and other Honda vehicle models such as the Accord, Civic, Pilot, etc... This was done on a 2014 Honda CR-V. I replaced the stock bulbs with LED lights so the bulb might look different than what was in the vehicle originally. It takes a 194 bulb for the 2014 Honda CR-V but your vehicle might take a different type of bulb with the same directions for getting to it to replace it.
Hello. Oreilly auto parts counter person here. One of the number one complaints and cause of returns of led bulbs is that many customers are not aware of the nature of led bulbs and how they require a certain orientation to work because of their positive and negative ends. It actually pleases me that you bring this up. Thank you so much. Hopefully more people realize that the bulbs are not defective and they just need to install them in a different orientation.
Thank you for the instruction, I was able to change the burn out light bulb by myself.

tried this on my Honda CRV, the spotlight at drivers and front seat passenger side came off easily using a flat screw driver. But the cabin light, using a regular flat screw driver would not come off. I tried using precision screw driver, (the one used in watch repair shops) and it worked.
Nice, appreciate this! Can’t believe there’s a section on interior lights in my CRV manual, but they can’t just tell you this.
Also used the tip of the top part of some nail clippers and that worked beautifully, didn’t need a cloth.
+1 nail clipper upper worked beautifully. Thank you
Oh great, glad it helped @druf!
This video helped me with CRV 2007. 3 min fix that will help greatly at night.

Nicely made video! Same light is on the 2012 Odyssey van and I was stumped how to access the bulb. You saved me from messing up the plastic lens, thanks!
Thanks for the video. Make sure you go between the clear plastic and the surround, not the coloured plastic and the roof plastic!
2004 needs a 3175 (festoon type) bulb, but removing the lens is 100% the same.
Thanks for the video.
Quick simple and easy, helped me change the bulb in under 5mins, thanks!!

Worked on my non-LED older CRV, thanks!
Thank you. Link for bulbs show "currently unavailable", though.

I recommend before buying a bulb if you have a Honda take that cover off and see what the bulb looks like while the light housing is the same shape on several Honda's some of them have different bulb styles such as a long tubular one or short tubular one. In the bulb number might actually be written on the plastic housing somewhere. Yo can always take the old bulb with you tothe store.
Thanks, 2011 CRV.

The link for your replacement bulbs does not work.
My rear some light comes on when switched to on position. However when placed in the door open position it does not come on when a rear door is opened. Will changing the bulb resolve this or is it possible there’s another issue?
Could be a wiring issue...that's what I'm thinking
Works great Honda crv 2008
Thank you, awesome video 😊👍

Hey, how do you fix a cabin light whose socket is broken? Are there any replacements I can buy ?
You would probably have to look for a whole new housing. I would look on eBay for dome light Honda CR-V
Eric DIY true, although can’t find one. Thanks for the tutorial though.
Last thing I would do is go online for a service manual from Honda and find the part number and then search that up
Thanks! Will try that
Perfect, thanks!

thanks for the demo video. it helps me to see that the lighting situation between my 2 hondas (2014 civic & 2014 cr-v) are the same. in light of that, i have found out that my 2014 civic takes a T10/194/168 style bulb which also agrees with the info in your description for this 2014 cr-v video. in the description you mention that the bulb you used is a 194 bulb (which would imply that both my 2014 civic & 2014 cr-v could use the same bulbs). however, when i used your amazon link to get info on the bulb you used, amazon's site lists this bulb as a "912 Mini Wedge / T5". is your amazon link a bad link or did you really use a 912/T5 bulb and not a 194/T10 bulb?
The numbers are often used interchangeably. Look at the connectors and make sure they're the same
which LED bulb you used? size , model number atcs....
LOOKS LIKE A T10
will this work for 2009 honda crv?
It should be comparable.
Where do i buy the bulb? Any link on the product, model will be very helpful..
It was in the description...Buy the LED replacement bulbs (used in this video) for your Honda CR-V here: goo.gl/f65EvW
I actually prefer these bulbs compared to the ones in the video above....check them out here: ruclips.net/video/X9loGxDrp-8/видео.html

where is the location fuse?? please show me the symbol
I don't understand? The fuses are near the OBD computer hookup near the driver's seat. The cover will tell you the fuses. You don't need to disconnect the fuse to change out bulbs
Make sure you do not put it in the wong way just like he said!!!
