Great video, and there are some really good products. I have the leaf punch, and it is one of my favourite tools. I want to try those hollow bases and the UV resin. You got very good results with them. Thanks for sharing!
It's funny, I totally agree with your take on the Brush Rinser thing and every point you made is 100% valid... but it honestly was one of my favourite gimmick items I've ever bought lol I got a cheaper one on ali express and it worked great for a few months until it started to get gross (like you predicted). I stopped using it when it started to break down and leak without pressing the button. I'd probably never buy it again, but if was redesigned to not make a mess I'd highly recommend the workflow for my fellow lazy people :P
Colorshift paints need to go over a gloss black primer. Some are more effective than others, I’ve got loads of them and they’re really good overall. Try getting hold of the Cobolt Blue, Toxic Purple and Psychotic Illusions (from paint set one). Airbrush is best application for sure but gloss is mandatory for it to work properly. You must use gloss black.
It’s to do with the way gloss reflects light as opposed to Matte which absorbs it more. These paints need the reflective nature to work correctly. If you don’t have a black gloss primer you can prime black and use a gloss varnish over it then use the paints but you might as well do it all in one go with a primer. Good luck!
I use their UV Resin for swamp bases for my Stormcast army. Instead of adding a paint to the resin, I paint the base with a beige and apply Coelia Greenshade, then resin over it. Since it's transparent, it works very well, i love this resin!
color shift or interference paints use the thickness of the paint to interfere with the light in order to create the colors. You really need super thin even coats. Adding more will actually make it worse.
Hey. Like you I speak french but your accent make me laugh so much that i've keep watching till the end. un ressort is a spring in english. For the product : 1. I have use liquid frost and it does'nt work with me, it's seems that you need to put a lot to make it works. 2. the brush rincer (i recieved it with the darkest black KS) is not so bad, even if I usually don't use it ( use if with metalics usually), and it's seems that it's not an innovation but a chiness product... but that's not really an issue there 3. Never use them, but like the Idea 4. the paint shaker , also die on me but, the opposite one time it's just can charge anymore and it was like the 3rd time i'll charge it. Any way there's a lot of good paint shaker on the web that are way beter and easy to use. 5. In the greenstuffworld web site they say to punch a leaf so the color, the texture ... are already on the final result no paint needed. (never tries it but seems good) 6.I have use some color shift from GSW and ... the work ok with me. Maybe because I use there Glossy black primer underneath and not my usual mat black. In my piece, some magicalstone are green/blue and violet when you change the Pov. 7. Fluor paint exist for a long time and other brand got those, my favorite one are from Scale75, they are matt but seems soooo bright. I use flour paint for very flashy hi light in some detail, not really for using with UV. 8. I use their UV resin to but, it seems that you can find very cheap and as good uv resin for way less money on internet if you looking on nail product. (i think is see that in a squidmar video) Again tjank you for the video and the laugh.
Oh ! I didn't know haha I already have bought the full fluo set of vallejo (I can't manage to find the green alone.. ^^' ) So I will not test the other brands, but I'm happy to have all the vallejo range already :)
AK Interactive also have the fluorescent colors, and it works really well. For the resin, have it, and never used it yet 😞 The rest look too gadget to me, and does not seem to be that usefull.
Brush rincer is really tip top!! Tu as juste eu un exemplaire deffaillant

Thank you very much ! It's very nice to comment every time, thanks for that :D
Hahaha you are a serial puncher too :p Welcome to the team :D
I have the paint shaker for over a year now, and I use it almost everyday. It is possible that yours was just damaged from the beginning.
Oh maybe, I confess that I don't want to buy a new one to verify if it's the case or not ^^
I love the laughter at 3.00 min, that's hilarious! Keep it up!
Haha yes it's my wife ^^ She's behind me to correct the mistakes I could make :)
Enjoyed it man - keep them coming!!!
Thank you very much :D

Haha thank you :)
You need to set the “ice crystals’ with super glue once they’ve formed.
Edit; with the leaf punch, try using it on an actual leaf, gamechanger.
Thanks for the advices :)

Thanks ! On the bottle they said "black undercoat or gloss black undercoat" but maybe I should have try the gloss^^
I'll test with it :D

Oh yeah good idea ! I'll try
I guess it's also possible to shade the resin once dry or to glaze it, need to try that too ahah
I dont know if its an innovation but the Vallejo diorama fx water is really cool for making small puddles
Oh yes ! I'll check it :)
color shift or interference paints use the thickness of the paint to interfere with the light in order to create the colors. You really need super thin even coats. Adding more will actually make it worse.
Ok ! I'll try again to see :)

One of their best product are the True metal pigments, try them and you will be amazed.
Ok I take note of this tool :) Thanks !
that's soooo true , I use the gold one with varnish for true metallic gold and it rock .
Other brands have (if not all) have fluo paints: AK, Vallejo (but you already know of it x)), Army painter... It is just GW that does not have them.
Oh ! I didn't know haha I already have bought the full fluo set of vallejo (I can't manage to find the green alone.. ^^' ) So I will not test the other brands, but I'm happy to have all the vallejo range already :)
A mini vortex mixer is way better than that shaker, abd the brush rinser is a waste of money, a jar of water is the best thing ever.
Completely agree :)

How is the battery still got so much charge in the paint shaker 😂 great video btw. Keep them coming 😸
It came almost empty of energy ^^ I used once and needed to charge it
I broke it in one week, I guess it will vibrate some hours in the trash hahaha
AK Interactive also have the fluorescent colors, and it works really well.

Ho I didn't know for AK !
Really useful the UV resin, especially on diorama with water/river I guess :)
Your meant to put glue over the frost. The crystals can take in water and just melt again otherwise
Which kind of glue ? Cyano ?
Good to know. I though varnish was enough
🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻👍
Sad to make advertising for GSW when we know what type of compagny they are...
I have no idea what you're talking about, but I would like to have more info if you can ? So that I can check after :)
