Love these movies. The scene where he is choosing "weapons" is so classy and truly enjoyable, he knows what he wants and will need and the seller knows the "weapons connoisseur language perfectly".
a "weapon connosieur" wouldnt touch a Glock with 10" pole, thats a tool for low level thugs, cops and wannabes but hey royalties from Block sure came in handy ... the most unrealistic thing in the whole franchise is that a professional choosing a Block over a fckn H&K ...
@@2002-n8s you cant fix wrong grip angle you also cant fix the blocky grip, way too small trigger guard non standard accessory rail without basically replacing lower half of the thing and then there is lack of front serrations and metal sights on base models ... OR you could go with CZ, SiG, Walther, S&W or H&K striker option neither of which has ANY of those issues straight out of the box on the most basic versions. Glock at this point is objectively the WORST base gun on the market from any reputable manufacturer and i would rather take one of the second rate options like Canik over Glock... PS: if you have 1 kg trigger on Glock that means you have a range toy ... as part of the trigger weight is on striker spring you have to lighten up WAY too much to get to pull that light which defeats the purpose of reliable sidearm ... so not only would you have to replace whole trigger mechanism you also ended up with a gun that will have malfunctions on harder primers, wont work at all when wet and ifd any dirt gets into the striker channel you will have a bad day... also trigger that light is BAD thing to have in stressful situation on something you have to draw from holster ...
Your bosses mechanics that refuses to serve you over a car and punches you and says your Dad would understand. Then your Dad punches you, you might need to be wondering who that nobody is.
And despite his own father letting the guy that punched him live and face no consequence for punching him, the little spoiled punk still thought he could finish what he started and live. He was stupid but to me it showed just how bad he wanted his fathers love and respect.
Bc they know full well what he's capable of. I really with Punisher got the same treatment in his series bc he's killed just as many people as John has. But in a very short amount of time.
The respect towards John Wick is displayed in the 3rd movie, you see the 2 assassins at the end in the Continental giving John credit for being retired 5 years allowing him to recover momentarily and in return John spares their lives. I don't believe John Wick is based on revenge, John earned his freedom and that was taken from him, even the slightest bit that was left ( the fucking dog that Viggo mentions ). So John is back on the hunt to reclaim what he believes he deserves which is his freedom and justice.
I love the cop scene because of a few things. 1 he knows they are all fucked if he had started again and need to be stopped. 2 knowing John he understands how much his word means. 3 with both those things when he knows John isn't aiming to start working again he just leaves because as he sees it if people want to start a fight with him anything he does to them its safer for everyone else to just file it as self defense XD
Little detail I noticed is that most of the characters in the franchise that look older than 30 actually respect John while those who look younger than 30 underestimate him and pay the price.
The John Wick movies, much better than the Matrix in my opinion. Keanu Reeves is awesome, really brought the character of John Wick out,... a true professional actor.
Thank you so much for this compilation! I, too, love how people are in awe/terror when John's name is mentioned! It’s probably just a respectful gesture. Jimmy asks if John is working again so it’s clear Jimmy knows what’s going on. They both acknowledge each other as “working” and therefore only brief exchanges are necessary.
He’s most likely johns handler to make sure he doesn’t try to go off the map, that being said even if he was not they share a familiarity with each other that can only exist if the cop knows about johns past
Like most people comments the cop scene was awesome. Firstly because it’s original. Never seen that in other movies where a random cop appears on routine call out to investigate but actually knows the owner and cop realises best to stay out of it….classy.
Viggo and Abram Tarasov, who were brothers, knew very well John Wick's skills and that's why they both called him "Baba Yaga": because his ways of killing someone were very brutal and he could transmit fear to anyone around him. Not for nothing, he could be considered one of the best killers in the world, who has never failed a killing in his entire killer life
John Wick does a few things right and breaks a few filming taboos. One: They don't ever really explain anything of John Wick's past but the reactions of those who know who he is and what he has done. It speaks volumes more than just outright explaining it. Two: The taboo in question. Is the one about the main character having a beard. Supposedly it is bad for the main character of a story to have a beard or any facial hair. Supposedly. And I could go on but those are the ones I remember right off the top of my head.
son: so what I killed the mans dog and beat him up. Isn't that the family code when it comes to disrespect *dad finds out it was john wick* dad: starts pulling out deceased paperwork* dad: why did it have to be my only son ...
You can tell it's such an often occurrence for the Wick House to have a dead body in it, that Jimmy, who gets sent there every single time, has interacted with John enough that they both are on that 1-2 word level. You know that once you hit that level with someone, they'll hold your secrets to the death bed. "Hello John. Hello Jimmy, Noise Complaint? Noise Complaint, You uh, working again? Just sorting some stuff out. Oh well, I'll leave you be then, goodnight John. Goodnight Jimmy."
this is what i love about the john wick movies: no silly amounts of exposition like when the head of the russian mafia tells his own son you are fucked and i cant help you, you dont need to say anything else to establish him
His old boss Vigo, his markered Boss DeAntonio, Jimmy a police officer, and especially Francis had the greatest fear for John Wick. All of them plus many more know who he is based on his stories, legends, and even past negotiations know that if his sights are set on something or someone…….and it involves work he will not stop until it’s completed. The only individuals that seems to not have quite as much fear are Winston, his starter boss The Director, and The Bowery King.
I think my favorite “oh” was when Viggo called and demanded to know why his son was punched. With the utterance of “oh”, all his anger shifted from the shop boss to his son for being a dumb POS, and then, as you said, the realization of “ Whelp, my son is fucked.”
Thing is, John Wick is a mass murderer...but...technically not a bad person. You know for a fact the guy runs into just as many irritating assholes in life as anyone, and not only is he obviously not killing any of them (that would cause trouble for both himself, and everything under the Table), but he's at least cooly polite to everyone. You can see it in his interactions. When he trusts someone, he's very obviously more relaxed, and generally unconcerned. He gestures more when talking, speaks more easily, and doesn't hold himself ready. Jimmy and the Doctor are excellent examples of this. While he initially prepares his weapon before answering the door because he doesn't know who it is, when he realizes it's Jimmy, he immediately slips into whatever tone and posture he presumably always uses with Jimmy (though Jimmy is clearly somewhat concerned). In the case of the Doctor, either the underworld's trust in their doctors is absolute, or John knows him from prior experience. But again, he's generally relaxed and calmly forthright. John doesn't always mix well with other people, but he doesn't harbor animosity towards anyone, even most of the people he kills. He's just doing his job, and anyone who very explicitly gets in the way is fair game. Bystanders are pretty clearly always off-limits for him. Again, that's presumably because messing with things outside the underworld is deeply frowned upon, but I also like to think that John just doesn't really dislike most people. He's not a people person, but he's not a killer for the fun of it. He doesn't get jollies out of it. And that's part of what makes him the best. It's also what allowed him to fall in love, and for him to be someone that another could love in the first place.
The cop knew someone else was taking care of next level garbage. He was happy with Johns work, cos it means its something he doesn't ever want to delve into. A smart choice.
Everybody respects and fears John Wick. Many people addressed him as 'Mr. Wick', but there are only a handful amount who can address him by his first name.
My problem with the start of John Wick 2, is that if they knew who's car it was, why didn't just leave it out in the middle of the warehouse with the keys in it, and just left until the coast was clear?
Great vid love these moments especially when they get scared by hearing his name. Well done

John"s got mad respect for Jimmy and vice versa.
Haha, very charming and funny interaction
Love these movies. The scene where he is choosing "weapons" is so classy and truly enjoyable, he knows what he wants and will need and the seller knows the "weapons connoisseur language perfectly".
a "weapon connosieur" wouldnt touch a Glock with 10" pole, thats a tool for low level thugs, cops and wannabes but hey royalties from Block sure came in handy ...
the most unrealistic thing in the whole franchise is that a professional choosing a Block over a fckn H&K ...
@@Asghaad you're right I have a hk45 and glock 19. Glocks ain't bad if you have a 2 pound trigger though...
@@2002-n8s you cant fix wrong grip angle
you also cant fix the blocky grip, way too small trigger guard non standard accessory rail without basically replacing lower half of the thing and then there is lack of front serrations and metal sights on base models ...
Only one word can describe john wick
Oh
Oh
2 words. Second word: Fuck.
It was at that moment he knew...
His son fucked up.
"OH"
Babayaga!!
Love how you can tell that almost everyone talking to John is about to crap their pants.
Bc they know full well what he's capable of. I really with Punisher got the same treatment in his series bc he's killed just as many people as John has. But in a very short amount of time.
Very true and it shows just how dangerous he is. Too bad we didn’t get a movie about him and Marcus etc in their prime
"...with a fucking pencil.". i must have heard this line a dozen times. still makes me smile every time.
Jimmy is the only cop allowed to answer calls at wick's house everyone else says nope
Agreed
I love the cop scene because of a few things. 1 he knows they are all fucked if he had started again and need to be stopped. 2 knowing John he understands how much his word means. 3 with both those things when he knows John isn't aiming to start working again he just leaves because as he sees it if people want to start a fight with him anything he does to them its safer for everyone else to just file it as self defense XD
"The boogeyman?"
"No, hes the guy you send to kill the facking boogeyman."
"Oh..."
Narrator : And it was at that moment he realized he done fucked up.
Voice of narrator: Sam Elliot
Little detail I noticed is that most of the characters in the franchise that look older than 30 actually respect John while those who look younger than 30 underestimate him and pay the price.
R.I.P Lance Reddick. Absolutely loved his character in the Wick franchise.
4:13 that man definitely told dispatch to get a lot of body bags ready
Goodnight Jimmy....🤣🤣 love it!
"You will do nothing, because you can do nothing." Holy cow, what a line!

Then again you should never just give up.
And the look in his sons eyes as his father someone who is feared and whom he fears tells him that along with a hug

“With a fucking pencil” shit caught me off guard 💀💀😂😂
“who df can do that”😂😂
Avis reaction to seeing Viggo angry and got scared when Viggo pretended to want to stab him while talking about the pencil 😂
The John Wick movies, much better than the Matrix in my opinion. Keanu Reeves is awesome, really brought the character of John Wick out,... a true professional actor.
Thank you so much for this compilation! I, too, love how people are in awe/terror when John's name is mentioned! I love that in the scene with Jimmy the Copper, John still sounds a little hesitant in his replies, not arrogant. As if to protect himself and Jimmy from any potential fallout. Like he's hoping they have some kind of silent agreement...lol
The pleasure is all mine !!!!!!
Morpheus was like "the man, the myth, the legend"... I genuinely thought he was gna say THE ONE! One could only have hoped
3:38 Jimmy is the by far the most intelligent person in the movies
Francis rivals Jimmy. DOesn't argue with or try stopping John. Just has a conversation, gives a little intel in code and then takes the offered night off.
Keanu Reeves versus Liam Neeson versus Daniel Washington. Now that’ll be an action flick to end all action flicks.
Versus Robert DeNiro (as Neil McCauley from the movie Heat) and Al Pacino (as Tony Montana).
I don't know who Daniel Washington is, but boy, he better be good...

Make sense?
That also showed how much The Tarasov family owed John. He basically cleaned the slate to have them built their empire. Otherwise they probably wouldn’t be near as powerful. I love how the movie delivers so much with not to many words Etc
To me the line "oh" translates as "holy fucking shit we're all gonna die".
Peter Serafinowicz as sommelier and John Wick's "tasting" was one of Part 2's highlights.

Indeed 😀
When the Officer takes off his hat it shows respect and honor to a man of stature. Or it could be just a sign saying "Oh PLEASE don't hurt me!!"
Both lol
It’s probably just a respectful gesture. Jimmy asks if John is working again so it’s clear Jimmy knows what’s going on. They both acknowledge each other as “working” and therefore only brief exchanges are necessary.
I just can't stop watching John wick movie it's a alsome movie to watch plus if I was John wick I would done the same thing
ngl i think officer jimmy is scared of john

The cop is on the take by same organization that has hired John in past. That's why he's familiar with him.
He’s most likely johns handler to make sure he doesn’t try to go off the map, that being said even if he was not they share a familiarity with each other that can only exist if the cop knows about johns past
i ruin the 69 like so sorry for that
Like most people comments the cop scene was awesome.
Not for nothing, he could be considered one of the best killers in the world, who has never failed a killing in his entire killer life
How scary must be to be hunted by John Wick
Scarier than a Devil
I doubt they know how scary it would be, cause they provoke John to hunt them down...
During the days when John Wick did indeed hunt. How would have someone felt to hear, "you've got a bounty on your head. John Wick accepted it"
No place to hide but one place maybe.. inside grave 🙂
it that ever happened to me I'll be fucked

"Happy hunting, Mr Wick!"
The entire show pretty summed up there for you.
Jimmy got to live a long time...
You mean like King Leonidas had?
Or like Moses, he had a beard.
The 3 guys with a pencil in a bar story is legendary
They need to make a prequel that shows him completing his impossible task and of course starting the pencil story.

"Goodnight Jimmy."
> "Hey Ron.

"Hi Jimmy."
"Hi Bimmy."
Goodnight Jimmy."
this is what i love about the john wick movies: no silly amounts of exposition like when the head of the russian mafia tells his own son you are fucked and i cant help you, you dont need to say anything else to establish him
I forgot about when Jimmy pulled up to the crib for a noise complaint, saw the body and went back to minding his business. 🤣🤣🤣
The only individuals that seems to not have quite as much fear are Winston, his starter boss The Director, and The Bowery King.
because they have love for him
They love him, respect him and have probably seen a side to him rarely ever seen.
So looking forward to John wick 4
The look on all those that knew wick can only be described as, we're screwed.
I think my favorite “oh” was when Viggo called and demanded to know why his son was punched. With the utterance of “oh”, all his anger shifted from the shop boss to his son for being a dumb POS, and then, as you said, the realization of “ Whelp, my son is fucked.”
@@selflesswarrior i like that one too
Jimmy John's 😭😭😭
It's also what allowed him to fall in love, and for him to be someone that another could love in the first place.
that cop knew he wasn't going to bat over the obvious dead man in someone elses home, he knows the stories and he values his life more than his job.
Which is the wise thing to do. To hell with jobs.
The cop knew someone else was taking care of next level garbage. He was happy with Johns work, cos it means its something he doesn't ever want to delve into.
A smart choice.
