Yes, I love these products. I used them all the time. Love the results it gives my hair. I think it’s the flaxseed moisture flaxseed has. Your hair always looks nice with any products. 👍🥰
The Flaxseed line was my first Curly Girl products. I haven’t used them in a while so thank you for reminding me that they are in my stash. I haven’t tried the mousse but love the gel in moderation.
I just loved the Curl Quench Gel from Maui Moisture. So bummed it’s discontinued. I bought up quite a few before they were gone. I’m excited to try the mousse you used. Thank you for the great info!
Hello Jody! I tried the gel & wasn't wowed by it. That probably why they discontinued it. I will try the mouse though. I thought the mousse side looked better than the gel side, too. I saw their new gel, too & like you, I don't want my curls stretched. I think the word you were reaching for is, spritz. I like a misting spray, too. If I have a spray that spritz, I rather just spray it in my hands, and then apply it to my hair.
Yes, I was trying to say the spay had a good distribution over a more spritzing type of spray. Honestly, if you could see all the editing I do when words fail me, it embarrassing 🙈.
I have been using Tresemme Extra Hold (level 4), but they recently reformulated. I've tested the new reformulation and had one bad experience and one decent experience, so the jury is still out.
@annanewsom4253 I used to use the Pantene Volume hairspray, but once they reformulated I can't stand it. I have also used the Aussie Head Strong Volume. It gives good hold and volume, but can be very drying. I have also used göt 2b Insta Flex and Garnier Fructis Volume (old formula) hairsprays, and they are both a light hold for my hair.
That's the first I ever heard of such claims. I honestly can't say one way or another; I haven't researched it to that extent. I do put a certain amount of trust in these companies, that they are putting forth safe products.

Thanks, but I definitely have bad hair days. Everyone does, and I'm no exception.

I never got to try that gel. 😢 thanks for explaining why I can never find it.
Yeah, I can't believe I didn't know about it sooner.

Really wanted to like this for my wavy hair but not moisturizing enough and fragrance was too strong for me.
Sorry to hear that. It's always a bit of a bummer when an affordable option doesn't work out.
What hairspray do you use?

Do you use any other hair sprays that come from the drugstores. Like Walmart.
