Led by the BBC from the UK and WGBH from the US. Joined by more than 60 television networks from around the world, one of which was CBC that led the program in Canada.

Many have been confused what year the 20th Century and the 2nd Millennium have ended, but the majority of those said the final day of the 20th Century and the 2nd Millennium was on December 31, 1999.
