Why put all that extra, like USB cables people have piles and piles. All that is just extra trash that will end up in some landfill at some point.

Good deal IMHO. It's a portable device. If you need cables you don't have to go hunt and the extras make a complete package. It is just a premium and for similar items, this simply has an extra package of items included.
I would really appreciate receiving the extra USB C cable, plus this one is braided, I really like it.
