Just finished watching the video. I'm amazed by the similarities between Turkey's stories and stories in India.
India is moving fast towards the direction Turkey is going. Instead of Islam, they are using Hinduism to get the ultimate power above law, order, and the constitution. The western world may see India as Yoga, curry, and poverty. But what's also boiling in the pot is extremism. Muslims are the number one target of this new India, followed by people belonging to lower castes. In the future, we may see India rising as a Hindu nation. The growing Islamist countries may recognize how their "brothers" in India are being treated, leading to tension in the borders.

Since this video is wrong, I doubt India and Turkey similar at all. Watch videos from Turkey, tons of tourists record and put them on youtube be it good or bad. Make your own judgement. I hope people are capable of making their own judgement instead basing off other people's ideas.

I am an objectivist and i live in Turkey. As a Turkish person this was hard to watch. I hate Tayyip and what he did to our secular country. He took away our freedoms, destroyed our economy, harmed our relationships with other countries etc. He used altrusim, mysticism, tribalism and gained power every year. He changed the system, now he is more powerful than ever. I think he cheats on elections too. I hate living in this country now. Many of the people are too stupid or brainwashed to realize how bad Tayyip is. I can't wait for him to go away or die. It will take many years to make Turkey great again after he is gone.
Btw this video is very good. Everything he said is accurate.

It is not enlightening actually because it is -in light terms- wrong. There are tons of videos of tourists who visits Turkiye. They went Turkiye and experienced what it is and what it is not. Watch them and see for yourself.

What nonsense you people talk. The Republic of Turkey is still secular, and will remain so for many centuries to come. The Turkish republic is secular from the root to the branches. That being said, being secular does not mean that practising muslims should not be able to practice their religion. That is the only difference now. Islam is not the official religion of Turkey, and will not be anytime soon.

@@mirzataimurbaig4806 the Islamist natanalist took over the government. Political Islam has produced several red lines that no political figure dares to cross. The fear of offending Muslim sensitivities has crippled the opposition while giving free rein for Erdogan, who gleefully grabs more power. This timidity has led to serious policy consequences in the last two decades.
For example, the Turkish government has invested unreported money into alternative medicine against the advice of the medical establishment. Traditional cures are touted as having been used and recommended by the Prophet Muhammad.
Another example is women’s rights, the first and worst victim of political Islam
