I think it’s fine the way it is. It gives kds who have more players, but less quality a chance to win. Otherwise all big kds would win regardless. It’s a nice balance in kvks where you already know the imperiums are going to win the zigg

Maybe in lower seeds you don’t have to use dot mode, in imp and high A it’s the only way. And don’t forget people have personalized fighting style
