He could have survived quite easily... by NOT helping Sylvanas, Varimathras and the Forsaken retaking the ruins of Lordaeron, instead Garithos should have just returned to the ruins of Dalaran (that Kael had already retaken for the Alliance despite the Blood Elves and Naga had to run away) waiting for the reinforcements of Stormwind from the south in order to retake and rebuild the capital city of Lordaeron for the Alliance..instead that idiot didn't trust the living Blood Elves, but chose to trust an Undead ELF instead lol
If Garithos had Cleric and Conjurer remnants from Nation of Azeroth, he wouldn't have been manipulated by Detheroc and Sylvanas. When even New horde has buncha spellcasters, which makes Garithos brainless than ogre. And Fire mage would suit Garithos' troop in name of "Inquisitor", with rain of fire, incinerate(doesn't left inhuman corpse) and mana burn, which are specialized in burning inhumans to death for vengeance.

Scarlet justiciar would be spellbreaker replacement with divine shield(nerfed version with 80% DR), feedback, righteous smite(15% chance to deal additional magic damage) and magic resistance. They are scarlet squires who wield greatsword for retribution, imbued with divine fury of scarlet crusade. They could behead inhuman shamans and sorcerers in ease.
At 5:15 when the ghouls were eating your tower alive I felt that check on the tower's armor type in my soul. Fondly do I remember the days of yore, in Warcraft III pre-Frozen Throne when the Guard Towers had fortified type armor. Guard Towers are buildings dammit! They should at least have let them keep their fortified armor type for the campaigns even if they nerfed them in multiplayer, balance be damned!
Your human equivalent units for the riflemen, mortar and priests are really cool and well designed. I actually would have liked something like that in the base game. Not that I take offense to non humans in the ranks, I am not Garithos after all, but it could have been a cool way too distinguish between human kingdoms that left the Alliance/local defense forces and active Alliance corps. Jaina and Arthas's expeditionary forces for example would have also dwarf and elf troops, but Arthas rallying the defenders of Hearthglen and Stratholme would only be able to recruit human troops. Or the Stromgarde and Gilneas forces Thrall encounters in the orc campaign. (I think the Gilneas expedition even has a mountain king hero, which really makes no sense.)
Meanwhile, in an alternate StarCraft universe… Duke and his men (plus Jim) see their Protoss scouting party get annihilated… and the Siege Tank operator is safe since he's Terran and a Siege Tank is really valuable. And upon encountering an inactive Reaver, rather than destroy it immediately, Duke has it carefully disassembled to take back to base for Dominion research. They also destroy the nearest Zerg base to expand their own.
Gharbad's subpar work serves as the impetus that makes Garithos reject Muradin search for some shoddy runesword of obvious nonhuman make It is all coming together...
Do I understand correctly that chronologically it is: 1) Garithos takes over the Human Campaign 2) Garithos Campaign 3) Garithos Campaign 2 Or did I miss something?
If only there was a universe in which Lord Garithos's family had never been killed, he would have grown to become a respectable Dark Knight and the Leader of the Knight Order.
I love this series, and although Garithos is a meme, I am really curious how he will handle the March of the Scourge, the Culling of Stratholme, and finding Frostmourne. Muradin though may get off easier as Garithos'll likely just tell him to piss off and go home after learning where Frostmourne is...

Where's your evidence that a Cleric or Conjurer would prevent manipulation?
Stormwind's Clerics were slaughtered in the First War. That is literally why Paladins (Like Uther!) exist.
Clerics have godsight while conjurers can summon scorpions and sexy water elementals.
