- 18.12.2019 Plettenberg Bay, South Africa: Not only did our knowledgeable guide "X" at the Jukani Wildlife Ranch and Care Centre teach us many interesting facts about each of the park’s species. He gave us an excellent demonstration of his totally cryptic, but cool sounding language Xhosa. www.sailingvilja.no
I have met and spoken to this man! It was years ago now and I was much younger so sadly I can’t remember his name but he was a wonderful person. Really insightful regarding the animals at the shelter and we had a personal conversation regarding honey badgers for quite some time!
He has a name tag
His name is jukani, if i ever met a man named jukani i wouldn’t forget
@@eatthebottle3297 that’s the name of the place, it says on his hat and shoulders too
Xhosa is really a beautiful language but it can be hard to pronounce the words
@@eatthebottle3297 jukani is the name of the sanctuary not his name
His smile is contagious.
This truly amazing. Keep your language and your culture alive.
Xhosa is such a fascinating language. His spoken English was beautiful as well, with the addition of such clear enunciation and all those rolling Rs. 😊
This is a common isiXhosa tongue twister, theres a few others, but this one even Xhosa speakers struggle with sometimes
I'm still working on my Q pronunciations, but this is great inspo because of the smiles and laughter💕
Did you learn that language?
@@aymanhadji8915 I am trying to learn it with Udemy, I'd say that's it's really interesting and, except obviously for the pronunciation I haven't found it SO difficult, if you are interested in it there are a lot of good resources for it!
Dude! You're learning Xhosa? That's so cool! That is very impressive!
@@zzyzxzzyzx Thx man! I haven't really learnt its structure but I learned how to do a lot of small talk and to understand it pretty decently! I really encourage you to try to learn it, ay least a bit, because it's a very cool and interesting language, and its unique sound makes it really intriguing!
I love click languages and that sentence was awesome. 😊
I love his accent, his voice is very melodic and a joy to listen to.
If he recorded for audio books I'd buy and read them all, no matter what the subject might be.
That sounds so beautiful.
Wow!! What an incredible language
He said a mouthful! 😊 this is very interesting & beautiful language!❤
We have so much CULTURE. Thank you ancestors for all you have given the world.
Are you american or south african? Because if you’re american your ancestors are probably not xhosa..
Dude was receiving text notifications while speaking😂
Such an interesting and beautiful language.
Here in the Philippines we spoke about 120+ languages/dialects from different regions of the country. We don't have this one with a clicking sound and I think that it is quite amazing.
Same here from neighboring country, Indonesia 😅 no clicky sounds at all.
xhosa are from south africa
Thank you! My mother grew up around the Xhosa people and used to speak it. I have been trying to learn how to speak basic Xhosa to show her, so examples of these pronunciations helps greatly. Funny enough, my partner is also from Bolivia, and his mother is, and speaks, Quechua, which has many similar "clicks" in the language. Learning how to pronounce words in the Xhosa language has helped me speak Quechua as well.
Being from India where we speak around 28 different languages, this is just out of the world beautiful to me❤❤❤.
Wanna learn this.
Great , just great
i also speak khosa i feel represented😍🤣
I love that South African energy. So warm. I want to visit. I shall.
Xhosa ❤
I also speak Xhosa molweni ewe and tata
as a zulu awuzithobe nsizwa
@@siphesihlesithole6055 😂awu kodwa Mondise. Awubayeke bezijabulise ngolimi labo. Phela akukho okunye😂
Such a beautiful smile!
Wow!
Awesome
E são uma simpatia🎉
If I knew this language I would show off if I was ever around someone else who spoke it to.
Trop 👍 ❤
Nice 👍
Kalaallisut is an intricate and beautiful language too. But the white murican man usually set foot on Greenland for a day or two, to ask similar questions and sail away again to the next cruise destination 🙄
Its a right of passage and then we go to Iceland to ask, "Is it true that Iceland is green, and Greenland is icey." Sorry We haven't liberated you from Denmark.
I'm a white man, though I'm not 'murican'. If you wanted to be friends I would make a sincere effort to learn your language. I have a friend from South Sudan and I am learning his native language, Nuer, which is fascinating. I look forward to making a video speaking it with him and I will definitely do the same if I have the opportunity to get a Greenlandic friend.
Inussiarnersumik inuulluaqqusillunga from England😊
P.S. a wonderful Greenlandic song for everyone

How Xhosa people sounded before they intermarried with Abembo(nguni) people 😂
I wish I could talk that fast😮... My creole, spanish and Japanese cultural language skills still doesn't have me speaking this fast. ❤
I used to speak this language but I learned 1,000 other ones and don't remember now! 😌
how did you manage to learn so many languages?
Sure Aaron
@Jaelyn Mckenzie you don't believe me?! As a reputable breeder of pet dragons and baby dinosaurs, and the collector who owns a _real_ Jedi lightsaber found on a planet 17,000,000 light years from Earth, I'm shocked that you don't believe in my legendary mastery of Earth languages as well as alien exolinguistics ... I actually teach lessons on alien languages like Glorrk, Boogle-sloppz, K'aha-Kaykay, Xzoozoolupe and Squeeble on weekends, attended by many important people like Thomas Jefferson and Rev. Jesse Jackson ... you are welcome to visit my dinosaur ranch and unicorn petting zoo anytime for a free lesson on exolinguistics though ... 🙂
@rav ever see the Matrix? Remember that scene where Neo gets "jacked in" to the loading program and they start loading martial arts and weapons training programs into his brain and he suddenly pops up and tells Morpheus: "I know Kung Fu ..." and then, in the next scene, Morpheus responds "Show me ..." ? Pretty well-remembered, famous movie scene, so I imagine you know what I'm talking about. Well, it _didn't_ happen anything like that, at all, but it was still kind of cool, I guess. 😎
@@GameDevNerd I thought you were good at many languages and were just exaggerating about having learned over 1000 languages but reading this made me feel stupid. Thank you.
Hadzane and Xhosa are the hardest languages in Africa
Xhosa and khoi
He said it incorrectly. Its iqaqa laziqika qika eqhaqheni, kwaqhawuka uqhoqho
UYesu uyindlela, inyaniso nobomi
Click languages are neat-o. I hope it's not misappropriation to say this.
I guess that is what they are and you’d have to be incredibly sensitive to be offended by it
GRRRas
Wow 😂😂

😅офигеть!
he doesnt know xhosa this one
Martin garrix animals instrumental
Did he just say Kaka?
😂
He lying 😂😂
How ?
Iqaqa laziqika-qika kuqaqaqa😂
HAHAHAHAHA
This is fucked up- literally one random sentence which includes many ‘q’ clicks in order to achieve a sentence that sounds absolutely random and stunning to anyone outside of the Xhosa community
She didn’t have to say very good like he some performer or toy you push the button and it talks
When I put on subtitles it said "Ecological as Greta Garbo caca."
He really said a EFF chant!
Speak like that somewhere else below
😂😂😂😂 wtf
That’ll be funny if he said sun whole other shit lmaoo
What did he just say about my mother?!
