May I respectfully ask you a question? It's purely interest.
Why is the course so much, instead of being a little less and more people being able to afford it? I'm really just wondering, cause I would love to take it but as for right now... It's hard to afford

I wish I saw your videos 30 years ago, ever since I lost my father to cancer,he was 58 years old, I was living in fear that same thing is going to happen to me, I was going from doctor to doctor, so many trips to ER, once I started watching your videos I am finally free, my symptoms are going away, I didn't feel this good for over 30 years. I am sooooo happy, and all thanks to you. Thank you Dennis for giving me my life back.
Happy New Year to you and your loved once, and it's going to be the happiest year for me too 🥂

“Just because it feels different it doesn’t mean it’s dangerous. I’m going to give it 30 minutes and see how I feel but I’m going to go do something else first”. This is what I do and the symptoms either calm down or vanish completely.

Every time I go into a supermarket I feel like I am going to pass out , dizzy etc. But I still carry on, it's a rotten feeling. It's not going away.

    • @xsm5525

same, the supermarket is always were it happens for me.
I get dizzyness plus air pressure behind my ears.
I think the only way is to accept it and then ignore it.
because at the end of the day, anxiety doesn't kill, it's just uncomfortable and annoying. don't let it stop your good life.

Supermarkets are sensory overload. Awful places for sparking off anxiety. Bright lights, noise, people...plus the further away I get from the front door the worse I feel... I'm still not great at shopping but better than I was. Just try and stop in a quiet-ish place in the shop and try breathe through it. It really does help. It's not perfect but it gets easier the more you do it. It's surprising how many people I've actually seen getting panicky in supermarkets.

All of these lies I've been believing for years. I'm in the process of trying not to concentrate on my sensations and they do tend to calm down. Numbers 1,2,and 4 resonate with me. I was once told by a therapist the only time you have no aches, pains or sensations you're probably dead!!!! Thank you Dennis will keep trying to put all your advice into practice. Much love.

Dennis, I started watching your videos early last year when my health anxiety was at its absolute peak. I’ve watched nearly all your videos and I would actually start my days and end my nights with your affirmation videos. Your videos (in addition with growing faith in God) were truly the only things that helped me. Since then, my episodes are less frequent and less intense. I am so thankful for you-you are a huge lifesaver!

I'm so so happy I found you. I'm currently in the throws of my latest bout. It's consuming. My health anxiety is crippling. In fact, I have a throat biopsy scheduled for the 20th. I've, in the last year alone, scheduled a mammogram, colonoscopy, hand rays, back ultrasound, gut ultrasound. My doctor has been very accommodating. I've recently started therapy, and am finally on anxiety medication. But it does not stop these intrusive thoughts. I have ptsd, adhd, and chronic depression. I had to take a leave at my job because my 6 day work week was too much. My mind doesn't stop. It's literally killing me.

Yes!! So relatable!! As an adolescent (in the 1970’s!), my parents labeled me a “hypochondriac” - when really, my anxiety was in play and coming at me as OCD and panic attacks. Made worse bc my experience was not recognized for what it was, much less understood (it was the ‘70’s, so there’s that). Fast forward. Learning all I could about anxiety as a school psychologist (now retired) and through therapy absolutely helped me help the kids I saw. Getting to the point, when my anxiety began spiking in the last two years, I reacted by “symptom scrolling” on the regular! My brain was telling me the lies you called out ~ spot on! (I couldn’t see it. At all.) Thank you for this video and the way you present with humor and your kind, calming voice ♥️🕊️

Yes it’s tough because I have some real health problems and also went through years of traumatic things but the journey through it gave me health anxiety so now I can’t tell how much is my actual health and how much is my fear causing the pain. Really difficult to retrain the brain! Its exhausting! Staying hopeful but I definitely spend too much of my time focused on the symptoms and how to keep them at bay and not really paying attention to the present moment. Breathe and keep trying. Happy New Year to you and your family and thank you!

I'm afraid of being watched or looked at by other people. When I was a younger, every time I was at the table eating meals, my father always looked at my chest. I felt so uncomfortable for a long time and I think it's become my fear now. I feel extremely unsafe when there is someone looking at me while I'm eating out. Then my brain freezes and my stomach feels something, my hands start shaking. All the symptoms make me think that I'm going to be crazy. At first, I tried the fight the struggle by doing it again and again. The symptoms are more and more serious that make me refuse eating out even with my family. But now when I eat at home with my family and someone joins the meals I still have the symptoms. If I find the reason but my body keep being afraid of them, what should I tell my mind to change the thoughts?

    subbed.!
the one thing that confuses me though is... I remember a time when i had little-to-ZERO anxiety symptoms. 5 months ago at age 39 I had my first panic attack, it was brutal.... especially that first month. but some symptoms still hang around (bloated gut, dizzyness/off-balance, shortness of breath, ear/head pressure, sound and light sensitive, brain zaps)
from 17 to about 39 I was drinking a lot of booze, I'm wondering if, all that booze I did numbed my anxiety, then just before the panic attack my body was at tipping point, my body had had ENOUGH of the alcohol! ?
now I'm on the wagon because ..doctors orders. thoughts on this topic?

Good question. I believe it is common because the system is already fighting to maintain inner balance hence the challenge to the immune system to maintain its functioning. Also, we can consider the mind as sufferers are highly vigilant in trying to protect from rather than create which can lead to depletion.

Totally normal... it's because you are stretching your muscles all the time without even knowing. Even athletes have them after workout. When everything is fine and you are not anxious then you don't have them. Just don't thing about twitches or any other symptom, they will go away.

During a time of intense stress and anxiety, i had muscle twitches all over my body. I believe i had depleted my magnesium. Electrolyte balance is important for muscles. I tried drinking a magnesium supplement called, “Calm”
      It helped.
Every one has different needs and tolerances. Start low. Taking too much can have side effects. (Diarrhea, sleepiness, others.)
