That time he did not ask how many people in this country take foreign trips. For LTCG, now people in menial jobs making 20-30 K per month also invest via SIPs, there government is sucking extras 2.5 % of gains which is made on the already taxed salary. This LTCG base is increasing. Basic is there is deposit crunch in banks as people are moving towards MFs . Government wants them to keep money in banks which gets eaten up due to inflation. Nahin milega bhai, because majority of people in India are living under 15000 a month only about 1 crore people pay the tax even in that most people have income around 6-9 lakh For example my father got a lot of benefit in last two budgets because slab was increased from 5 lakh to 7.75 lakh now my father don't have to file income tax from last 3 years and they will increase slabs slowly slowly in new regime so with 7% increment my father will never have to pay income tax 😅 But unfortunately I am not in that situation I will have to pay 1lakh every year 😅

Why are people complaining about LTCGT and STCGT hike? 1. Do you know, India's share market capitalisation is even greater than India's GDP. This means an insanely huge amount of money is being traded, which may or may not be a good sign. 2. Many of the transactions are intra-day settlement , which if you don't know, it means people put money in the morning and withdraw in evening. They are there for sheer profit, if there won't be profit they won't invest. This shows how volatile the market is. 3. Big corporations want stability, foreign firms want credibility. A stable pool of capital gives assurance that investments will flow towards them. But with such high volatility, they won't invest in India. 4. Government cannot stop people from investing, but what it can do is that it can discourage such trading by raising taxes. 5. Government did not raise taxes out of the blue, go and read reports, RBI and SEBI have recommended to take these steps. Y'all should've known better if your money is on stake. People in India seriously lack awareness man , I wonder what will happen to this country 🫠
Out of 100 rupees spent by government 50 rupees goes into politicians, contractors, bureaucrats etc. lot goes into useless schemes like minorities, farmers etc. But will not takes steps to control that but keeps increasing taxes. In formal sectors employees earnings 30-40 percentage goes into taxes(direct and indirect) and govt provides 1% services to him. On top of it he has to give 5-10% for anything from govt offices.

There's no use abusing the audience for their views if they don't match with yours! I know you guys don't follow the BJP blindly, same applies to us too! The magic in this is that we may support/oppose them on different issues!! Taking away indexation is a major problem and leads to enormous burden on the middle class. Selling your immovable property is a once in a lifetime event for most of the middle class, when government charges 3 times the more tax to someone on this, it definitely hurts! I can give you a detailed calculation to support my claim! Furthermore, indexation gave incentive to a person holding the property for a longer period of time as compared to a person holding it for shorter period! The new system of no indexation may help in short run, but 15-20 years down thr line you will get to know the real problem with it!! The problem with this government, specially in tax system is that they only keep short-term perspective and ignore the long-term impacts on the tax payer!! One example of that is taking away 80C, 80D, 80DD, 80DDB, etc away under new tax regime!! These deduction built a long-term wealth for the tax payer and also shielded them from any unforeseen life events like death, hospitalisation, etc!! I say this with my experience in the field of taxation as a practitioner and teacher for over 18 years!! Don't take my word for it, but please for a change, take your head out of your own asses and do some actual and unbiased research by consulting some experts like Abhi & Niyu, Labour law advisor or other tax and law advisors before opening your mouth and blaber out crap on issues that you have a very little idea about! I know you guys don't give a f**k for your followers or their views, specially when they don't match with yours, but hope you will improve the quality of your discourse on highly technical issues!!

Because 27% of the Union budget comes from borrowing and 19% from income tax. From where the government will bring this 19% revenue, if it cut the Income taxes? It will either need to increase the GST and customs or it will need to borrow more.

But somebody please explain me how removal of indexation benifit is good if the real estate return out of mumbai is only 4% and by the way its the same number for the inflation. I strongly disagree with kushal because now i have to sell my fathers property which is in nashik , 10 years ago in 2014 we brought it at 21 lac and now we want to sell it and it would be sold at 30 to 32 lac if there was indexation benefit we would have to pay no tax as inflation adjusted price of the property today would have been 31 lac . But, with the new tax rule we now have to pay tax 1.2 lac approx. so clearly this shit decision taken by the government and assholes like kushal are endorsing them

For LTCG, now people in menial jobs making 20-30 K per month also invest via SIPs, there government is sucking extras 2.5 % of gains which is made on the already taxed salary. This LTCG base is increasing. Basic is there is deposit crunch in banks as people are moving towards MFs . Government wants them to keep money in banks which gets eaten up due to inflation.
For NJAC , he is saying judges are not willing so they can not bring law. For farm bills "farmers" are not willing so we can not bring. If for taxes people are not willing then????? then nothing as they will not come out on streets. For example my father got a lot of benefit in last two budgets because slab was increased from 5 lakh to 7.75 lakh now my father don't have to file income tax from last 3 years and they will increase slabs slowly slowly in new regime so with 7% increment my father will never have to pay income tax 😅

Why are people complaining about LTCGT and STCGT hike?
1. Do you know, India's share market capitalisation is even greater than India's GDP. This means an insanely huge amount of money is being traded, which may or may not be a good sign.
2. Many of the transactions are intra-day settlement , which if you don't know, it means people put money in the morning and withdraw in evening. They are there for sheer profit, if there won't be profit they won't invest. This shows how volatile the market is.
3. Big corporations want stability, foreign firms want credibility. A stable pool of capital gives assurance that investments will flow towards them. But with such high volatility, they won't invest in India.
4. Government cannot stop people from investing, but what it can do is that it can discourage such trading by raising taxes.
5. Government did not raise taxes out of the blue, go and read reports, RBI and SEBI have recommended to take these steps. Y'all should've known better if your money is on stake.

In formal sectors employees earnings 30-40 percentage goes into taxes(direct and indirect) and govt provides 1% services to him. On top of it he has to give 5-10% for anything from govt offices.

Taking away indexation is a major problem and leads to enormous burden on the middle class.
Selling your immovable property is a once in a lifetime event for most of the middle class, when government charges 3 times the more tax to someone on this, it definitely hurts! I can give you a detailed calculation to support my claim!
Furthermore, indexation gave incentive to a person holding the property for a longer period of time as compared to a person holding it for shorter period! The new system of no indexation may help in short run, but 15-20 years down thr line you will get to know the real problem with it!!
The problem with this government, specially in tax system is that they only keep short-term perspective and ignore the long-term impacts on the tax payer!! One example of that is taking away 80C, 80D, 80DD, 80DDB, etc away under new tax regime!! These deduction built a long-term wealth for the tax payer and also shielded them from any unforeseen life events like death, hospitalisation, etc!!
I say this with my experience in the field of taxation as a practitioner and teacher for over 18 years!!
Don't take my word for it, but please for a change, take your head out of your own asses and do some actual and unbiased research by consulting some experts like Abhi & Niyu, Labour law advisor or other tax and law advisors before opening your mouth and blaber out crap on issues that you have a very little idea about!

Because 27% of the Union budget comes from borrowing and 19% from income tax. From where the government will bring this 19% revenue, if it cut the Income taxes? It will either need to increase the GST and customs or it will need to borrow more.

Beacuse of the freebie politics of the chindi alliance, now we see a mindset of wanting everything for free. Want world class infra but will nit contribute in it. Wanna earn in lacs but won't pay taxes. Every time, the same narrative "what am I getting in return?". As if u pay 100 Rs to Govt, Govt will send u a 100 Rs gift hamper after budget to satisfy u. Even if Govt does that, they will ask "why am I not getting 200 Rs Gift Hamper?"

I agree with the government that what they have done with the capital gain tax on equity . But somebody please explain me how removal of indexation benifit is good if the real estate return out of mumbai is only 4% and by the way its the same number for the inflation. I strongly disagree with kushal because now i have to sell my fathers property which is in nashik , 10 years ago in 2014 we brought it at 21 lac and now we want to sell it and it would be sold at 30 to 32 lac if there was indexation benefit we would have to pay no tax as inflation adjusted price of the property today would have been 31 lac . But, with the new tax rule we now have to pay tax 1.2 lac approx. so clearly this shit decision taken by the government and assholes like kushal are endorsing them
